The great thing is that the advantage of being the #1 seed is now minimized by the Lions and Vikings having to play for it all in week 18.

I like where the Eagles are sitting as #2, they showed a lot on Sunday

How can you watch the crap officiating every week and not think it's being rigged?  Just like the GB phantom offsides call against Minnesota.  The league clearly wanted a winner takes the #1 seed game set up between Minnesota and Detroit in week 18.  Gambling has completely ruined the integrity of the sport.

KC keeps winning - they keep showing more and more of Taylor Swift = more money for the league.  There is incentive for them to push them to the top every year.

The loser of the Vikings/Lions game is going to have a hard time the following week.

The day I full heartedly believe any of this, is the day I walk away from watching the NFL never to return.

Of course, its also part of why I don't gamble.  The house always wins.

In the end, that game benefits the Eagles greatly.  Especially, if our starters get rested. That Vikings/Lions game is going to wear both teams down significantly.  Whichever one loses and has to play the next week is likely going to be exhausted and hopefully take an L.

Any team we play will be difficult because, if the regular season is any indication, the officiating has been so incredibly lopsided in our games that we're going to be fighting an uphill battle regardless

I don't full heartedly believe it, but this season has definitely pushed me onto the fence. Our games have been too horrendously lopsided for me to say it's impossible anymore

Lol

Yep.  In the past I remember seeing reports about how each officiating crew throws more types of flags than others.  Don't remember seeing any of those this year - it's just known at this point that the calls are going to skewed in favor of our opponent.  It's absolutely absurd - and there's statistical proof of it.

I watched the video of that... and I thought, that's the most uninspiring walk out I think I can remember seeing.  The only thing maybe more cringeworthy entrance I've seen is the McNabb air guitar before the playoff game in Dallas... 2009.

Rodgers' falloff has been such a weird thing to witness

I think it’s always weird when you watch somebody have greatness for years all of a sudden just not have it anymore. I don’t think he’s gonna retire, cause I think they’ll be a team that believes in a better situation that Rodgers can be that guy. I think he’s toast.

Frankly I thought Green Bay should’ve traded him after they lost to SF in divisional round the year before. Felt like it just had ran its course and Green Bay could’ve cashed in for even more. That said his last handful games with Green Bay weren’t all that impressive. He look like he was starting to decline. Then he had the Achilles last year. A guy in his 40s having an Achilles you’re not gonna come back the same. There’s guys in their 20s and early 30s that don’t.

Seriously… Neither team really gets a bye week (not in the truest sense, anyway) since they have to play for the number one seed in week 18… Their playoffs start early, not late

Yep. They absolutely have agendas the officials push. It is a rigged league now not so much by the players, but by the refs. It started around the first Chiefs SB.

Have to hope the Chiefs lose in the AFC bracket, because that's the worst possible matchup for us in the SB. That's even forgetting the officiating aspect.

I kinda feel like we beat the chiefs pretty easily this year.

Would be more concerned about the explosiveness of the Bills.

Same… I’d be more concerned about Buffalo as well

Moving Joe Thuney to LT has really helped the Chefs in the past few games.

And Allen's playmaking.  Gotta hope that bad Allen shows up and throws picks.

Of the big 3 in the AFC, we match up best against the Bills. They're just so small on defense we'll run them over AND they don't have a single WR who can threaten our DBs.

Don’t think the howie part would happen in a million years nor should he want to work with/for woody Johnson
