I don't have a ton of faith in Jared Goff without Ben Johnson though. He had McVay and wasn't anything special after 2018.

I think his issue with the rams was their oline got worse and worse from 2018 to 2019 to 2020. When he’s been good he’s had good to great olines. If the lions still have that oline then i tend to think he’ll be fine. I don’t think he has seasons like this and last year.

I've seen the second one, but FAR less than the first one. I may have only seen the second one once, actually. I remember it was in NYC, but that's about it.

It's a pretty solid sequel. They did it fast enough after the OG that Kevin didn't really age so he still has that innocent, cute kid factor going for him. It's not like Stranger Things with 30 year old adults playing 8th graders.

That's fair -- MVP candidate Goff will be gone when Johnson leaves, but he'll still be a good QB. I can see that.

It will never happen, but if I ran the Lions, I'd consider firing Campbell if his idiocy costs them in the playoffs again and promote Johnson to HC.

I've never watched any of Stranger Things. I've thought about it, but never actually have.

Except this week, which may be what Clay was referring to.

This would be a perfect time to work in a backup punt returner.

I still think the light gray or silver should be the alternate color, use a kelly green number with white outline and I think that would be a nice option.

They have a graphite in their color scheme that could be used a lot more, but it's only used on the pants stripe and the drop shadow of the number. I think a graphite colored facemask would look great on their Midnight Green helmets rather than black. Make the facemask stand out a bit more.

I doubt it would happen. But I would consider it if I were the Lions if he did something bonehead and it cost them a chance to play for the Super Bowl. That said I cannot imagine the players in that locker room if they fire him after having the lions best season in their franchise history and have it go over well.

The other thing I find curious with that division is what the Packers do going forward. They are currently the youngest team in the NFL. I thought last year they were ahead of where they should have been. This year I don’t think they made the step they needed to get to the next tier. they have been in games against good teams like last year in the divisional round against sf. They just have found ways to lose it. Like lining up offsides on a kick and stuff like that. But they’re gonna have cap this off-season so i wouldn’t be shocked if they are in the WR market for Higgins, godwin or cooper.

Home Alone Reaction GIF by Death Wish Coffee

Just as a side note... in the first two Home Alone movies, I believe Marv and Harry suffered at least a dozen potentially fatal injuries.  This was one of them.

I know the guy who played Marv talked about the 300+ pound camera that nearly fell on him when they were shooting the iron falling scene.

There are a few Amish markets around me that I love to visit. I always assumed the furniture they made would look very basic and just utilitarian. Boy was I wrong. They make some of the most beautiful, well-made and comfortable furniture I've ever sat in. They can make an all-wooden swiveling office chair 1000x times more comfortable than a cushioned one. You'll pay, but it's worth it.

They can do both.  But, their stuff is going to last 100 years, minimum.  More than likely it will last 200-300 years if its well cared for, if not longer.    So, it is an investment not just an Ikea throw away piece of crap.

I actually think the second one is better than the first

There’s still a whole half to play. Looks like bama woke up

That's not the point.  This shouldn't even be a game if Alabama is what people said they were.

UM QB should have thrown it away and he'd have saved his ankle/knee whatever injury he just suffered.

I had this discussion with my dad the other day. After watching both of them, I still think the first one is better but the second one is really good considering the fact not every sequel is really good. Also terminator 2 is way better than the first terminator.

Kurt Coleman and Marcus Epps. For a team desperate to find safeties for such a long time, these two guys were taken for granted.

OG wins for the sake of being the OG, but the 2nd one is right there with it. NYC during Christmas is such a great setting and I think they did a great job creating new and painful torture for Marv and Harry to endure without being repetitive.

This scene kills me too. Gives me memories of J5.

I wanted to be a fan so much. I thought they had found a safety that was going to a head hunter over the middle...yikes what a terrible pick.

That was my thinking at the time as well.

What did have by then - 31 carries plus two receptions? Something like that. When you get tired you’re more susceptible to injury.

Yup.   Pulling him when they did made sense.  Got to 2k, game was in hand... and was within striking distance of the record.   But, giving him more carries on Sunday would have been potentially more dangerous than him playing this Sunday.  This Sunday he'll be fresh again.

I haven't watched a lot of Alabama this year... but I have to tell you, I'm not overly impressed with Milroe.

A random name that I haven’t heard in years after looking at old drafts last night was Jack Ikegwuonu. Ended up going to jail around ten years ago for armed robbery.
