I'm rooting for Tanner McKee to light up the Giants in a close loss. Knock the Giants out of the top 5.

I thought they literally said he wasn't out of the concussion protocol?

They can't let Hurts heal up/rest without him in the concussion protocol?  Especially when they already stated they aren't playing starters this week.

2nd concussion in a little over a month. Strong chance he is not back this postseason.

I don't think they said anything.....and I believe that to be on purpose.

We get a bye week heading into the playoffs, so the starters can rest up. I would have liked for Hurts to get a half in this Sunday, but it is what it is. If that had happened, I think the record would have fallen, which I'm mildly disappointed at the loss of that possibility. But c'est la vie. I'd much rather have us get a Lombardi... though getting both would have been fun.

That all said, I never thought I'd see an Eagles RB get more than 2,000 yards rushing, so we have that to enjoy.

Your use of words is truly baffling...."Strong chance he is not back this postseason." I think you'd be right at home writing some of the click bait trash out there on the intranet.  You have absolutely ZERO idea of what's going on with Hurts.  You are not a doctor, you are not part of the Eagles organization and honestly reek of please pay attention to me mommy.

Ah ok. Thought I saw that it was reported he was still in it

Tanner McKee will start this week and Hurts will be back like normal for wild card weekend.

2nd concussion in just over a month.  Not good.  The fact that we are 10 days later and he is still in protocol points to that. Everything we have seen in this league when comes to multiple concussions in a single season is being out for months.

Agreed, Addison should not be taken lightly, he can be deadly

That is where having both Q and Slay is crucial. Addison will always be going up against a solid CB

He may be "In Protocol" but with no reason to rush him back.....they may very well be keeping him in said protocol.  That doesn't mean he won't touch a football again this season.  Geesh.....if he isn't practicing NEXT WEEK, then start to worry.  But until then, just assume they are including Hurts in the players resting up/getting healthy.

Nick Sirianni had a press conference in the past hour where he stated that Hurts is still in the concussion protocol.

There will only be a next wave if they make changes to the game.  Bring some physicality and defense back…and do something with the 3-point shot.

I say this, as somebody that used to play a lot of basketball in my youth, and never missed a game on TV during the Jordan era. I live in Chicago.  The game is just painful to watch now compared to then.  I have seen both, so I’m not just mimicking what Talking Heads on TV say. The game is suffering and needs to be changed.  I understand that you don’t view it that way, and that is your right.  But the ratings say that you are in the minority.

Defense is being played in the NBA but spacing is so wildly different than it was 20 years ago where teams actually have 5 guys that can create offense and shoot vs 2 to 3 guys on a team. It's hard to help on guys when you are leaving open 38 to 40% 3p shooters.

Its odd I dont think theyre anywhere near the actual #1 team, yet I think they can beat Oregon (I know they lost that game), who would be their most likely championship game opponent. No Carson Beck for Georgia against ND.... Im not sure you can really ask for a better opportunity than what Penn State has got with this path to the championship this year. They just might do it. Odds are low. But definitely not 0.

Don’t go to sleep on the Freshman Georgia QB stepping in for Beck.

Would love to have an elite DE with Carter

Most likely a top 5 guy, top 10 at worst. I don't think we will want to sacrifice the draft capital to move up that high. Though he would be an awesome get for this defense if it did happen.

My hope is that Prince U from Ole Miss, Harmon from Oregon, and Jackson from Arkansas will be there at 32. Fun times for all.

See above for one more

If all four of them are on the Board when the Eagles pick, then Trader Howie will be in his wheelhouse.

Rush him back? If he's healthy and ready then he should play. If for only a series. He'll have not played in like a month come playoffs

I know people fear injuries but what about slow starts in a wildcard game that has us losing?

We are 9 points short of being the #1 scoring defense

We play NYG

Chargers play KC

Go Carson Wentz!

Part of me wants to see that maturity and AR have got Wentz over that hump and he overcomes his failings and beats the ever loving 💩 out of the Chargers.

I think his head would explode if one of the backups came in and won a SB before Hurts

It’s certainly more boring than the NFL but I wouldn’t say it’s unwatchable.

The NBA has entered nascar status imo

The Sixers are playing tonight in Sacramento.  I thought about going to the game.  It’s only a 15 minute drive from my house to the arena, but it was a thought that quickly died.  It probably would have cost me virtually nothing for a ticket given how disappointing the Kings have been.

Makes no sense whatsoever to keep him in concussion protocol if he is cleared.  You keep acting like they are only allowed to give him rest if he is in the concussion protocol when that isn't true and they are resting the starters this week and they aren't in concussion protocol.

Terrion Arnold has struggled in coverage, grading out as Pro Football Focus‘ 189th cornerback this season with a 48.8 grade.

Dude is gonna get worked by Jefferson/Addison on Sunday and if we play the Lions then AJ or Smitty
