You don’t win super bowls giving up 22 4th quarter points. Really need to take a close look at all 3 phases of this game there’s plenty of blame to share.

Feels like a realistic chance we’re going in to week 18 against NYG needing to win.

I can wrap my head around the performance of the offense.

I am really concerned about the defense if they have to protect a one-score lead.  They don't have that closer rushing from the edge.  Maybe Huff will be that guy.

From a passing standpoint, it’s a wash with hurts and Pickett. And you make all the excuses in the world for hurts as well.

Eagles lost an ugly game to Oakland the SB year this same week. 

This is pretty much identical to 2022 outside of getting the one seed. Hurts goes down, backup loses a close game, and then they settled down in the playoffs and went to the Super Bowl. Win next week, clinch the two seed, and give everyone a much-needed bye week 18. Even if they won out, getting the one seed was never a guarantee. Tapering down Saquon’s workload these next two weeks so they don’t have to run him into the ground chasing home field advantage so he’s good and ready to go in the playoffs isn’t a bad consolation.

Hurts sees that blitz coming off the edge on that 3rd down and down noodle passes over 15 yards

The defense had 5 turnovers. 

We lost the game more on offense than defense IMO.

That defence also had 36 points scored on them

 

33 points should be enough to win a game. 

Before the Eagles' loss today, NFL teams with 5+ takeaways and a turnover margin of 3+ or better were 34-1 since early 2019. Only loss was Texans' loss to Lions last month.

They were down the whole game and left for dead after that pick. Their job is to provide color commentary for radio. It would be weird if they weren't overly excited about the result.

All i know is our special teams deserves to be ripped. Our kickoff coverage was terrible. It wasn’t just the kicks being bad and short. Those weren’t good. But the coverage just was lousy. Guys taking poor angles. Or they just didn’t get off blocks or just waited until the guy got close enough to him to go for the tackle. The eagles had 8 kickoffs. Commanders started at their own 40, eagles 43, own 22, own 33, own 37, own 39, own 35 and own 43.  

The pass rush had zero to do with the final drive, the pass rush was great all day, and they just threw the ball quick on the final drive. That was more a scheme issue than talent. The Eagles played to prevent a big play and allowed wide open stuff underneath. Same as vs Atlanta.

I'm disappointed.

But I struggle getting upset about a road loss to a division opponent in which our QB gets hurt 5 minutes into the game and the refs had some of the weirdest personal foul calls of the season.

I wasn't determining who is responsible for THIS game.  It is a go forward concern.
