Kenny Pickett sucks.  He had such an opportunity today to show something and came up small.  sure the guys didn't help him out all the time but he just looked unprepared and weak back there.

Not sure what was up with the run game, but I don't care that Hurts was out or how the Commies defense was playing. They did not do a good job blocking up front in the 2nd half to give holes for Barkley. Should have been better even with the circumstances.

Pickett underthrew him by 5 yards. An average throw is an easy reception and likely a TD. 

I don’t think he completed the catch. Gotta survive the ground, so agreed out in front of him he may have scored.

well if Devonte makes that catch, which he absotuley 100% should, we would have a win.  very similar to the falcons game with Barkley.  hopefully that ignites him like it did with Barkley

He did enough to help win that game. 

What are some people watching and Fing expecting from a back up QB. Hell, are maybe 10 to 12 good starting QBs in the league, let alone backups. Pickett did enough in the game

A bunch of shotgun runs WITHOUT a running QB is malpractice.

We didn't run anything under center with Pickett. That's not tenable with a QB who is not a threat in the run game OR a fast processor.

they need to pass more to stop them stacking the box.  Passing game was not good again.

Yes, it was.  Defense got 5 turnovers and Eagles offense couldn't do anything with it.  If Hurts doesn't get taken out with a cheap shot Eagles win that game easily.

They were run blitzing so much not sure should have expected much from Barkley

No matter how much you people try to speak it into existence that just isn't true.  Pickett wasn't good enough over the course of the game and they lost as a result of it.

They activated Blasingame and I don't think he saw the field and if he did it was only a couple times and I just missed him. You'd figure they could've used him with more stuff under center.

Hes a backup QB. He did enough to win.

I'm probably over reacting a little but I just had much higher expectations for him.

I guess the total lack of threat and effectiveness from the QB didn't have any impact on them run blitzing at all.

I saw him once in the red-zone in a pony package and we got 6 yards. That was the wild-cat Saquon drive.

It was a one-score game.  There were several plays prior to that one play that contributed to the loss.

You could blame the Pickett INT or even an uncalled penalty just as easily.

do you really expect a backup to come in and light it up in his first game of the season?

those 3 drops by barkley, brown, and especially smith were the game changers

Stop blaming Pickett, ffs.  The Eagles scored 33, that's the 3rd most they've scored in a game all season long.  Blaming the offense for the loss is ridiculous.  You give up 36 points to an opponent and you'll lose the game more times than you will win.  And this was the Commanders, just imagine what the Lions would put up on the Eagles if the defense lays an egg like this against them.
