We lost the game more on offense than defense IMO.

Gave up five touchdown passes. They can share the blame equally.

Barkley gets hit because they put 10 in the box how are you going to block all that

Sure, they did stack the box, but it also seemed that they played with more physicality than our vaunted line. Just looked off after the first quarter..

They were down the whole game and left for dead after that pick. Their job is to provide color commentary for radio. It would be weird if they weren't overly excited about the result.

It's all good.

Hope we see them again.

Im not sure they get it anyway, the Bears and 49ers aren't beating the Lions and that was the Eagles most realistic chance

Vikings could very well beat the Lions.  Strength of schedule was still in play, especially with Panthers beating the Cardinals today.  And Vikings play Packers next week which could have also helped.

Idk what he said but he should’ve know he was one flag away for personal foul from being ejected. So have to walk a fine line and not cross it.

that said on the first one, I don’t know how you don’t call that as offset penalties. You literally saw a dude punch a guy in the face and was right in front of the official. Imo that was BS that the commanders didn’t also get flagged on that

That pissed me off. So blatant. Retaliation isn't legal for a punch, (they always catch the 2nd guy). How can it be legal for trash talk?

Eagles lost an ugly game to Oakland the SB year this same week.

No the eagles won that ugly game that allowed them to clinch #1 seed

Why did I think they won that game

Ok in "reality” what should be do now? With you in F’ing charge We’d be playing without Barkley and Smitty.

Just cancel the F’ing season? In reality we lost to Atlanta because of Barkley and today because of DeVonta. Do they get any F’ing credit for the 13 wins ?

When did I say anything about benching or cutting Barkley you idiot?

Yes, they get credit for wins. BUT THEY ALSO GET CREDIT FOR LOSSES WHEN THEY DROP WIDE OPEN PASSES IN A POSITION TO WIN THE GAME.

How hard is this to understand?

Fair.

This is where the lack of man-coverage showed up.

From a passing standpoint, it’s a wash with hurts and Pickett.

Come on…

On the bright side, we are moving up on that "if every one score game was flipped” list.

You do realize there was eagles players punching that didn’t get called against Pitt?

The defense did enough to win.

The OL did enough to win.

Barkley and AJ did enough to win.

Pickett did enough to win.

Smith lost us the game.

That 4th and 11 was just brutal to me

Patriots are up 14-0 against Buffalo at start of 2nd quarter.

Sometimes rivalry games are just weird.

Eagles are (mostly) fine. My only real concern at the moment is special teams.

Also maybe this is bad on my part but in a way I’m ok with the loss because that means there’s an increased chance Barkley plays in week 18 & how great would it be if he breaks the record against the Giants

I’m not worried about the game, Hurts plays easy win. The clock never moves when Hurts went out.

I thought the eagles benefitted from the no call last week on slay throwing a punch which was more justifiable then that one. two weeks in a row the officials blew that call. At some point hold your officials accountable as they’ve been bad all year. It’s been a constant theme this year that your officials have been bad. At some point get a hold of your Fing officials and get them to do a better Fing job. don’t just write it off as well it happens.

They did….the cope is going to be epic in here this week.

Realistically feels like we could just as easily get knocked out first round as make a run to the SB.

Oh and Im going to leave this here.... NFL needs a no flop rule. It's ridiculous

No, it’s reality.

Why not blame the D for giving up a 25 yard scramble on 4th and 11?   That was just as big a swing play as the drop by Smith... just not as easy to remember because there was more time on the clock, but that play had as much to do with the loss as any single play by anyone on the offense.

Teams win, teams lose - not players.  This team lost today.  Every single player, every single coach can look in the mirror and be honest with themselves about what they could have done better to ensure a win.  Of course, they can all just fool themselves and ignore their own part in it and point at #6.  That's an option, but that's not what winning teams do.  That's what LAST YEAR's team would do.  Hopefully, this team isn't that same level of immaturity.  Maybe they are though.

It’s not hard to understand yet you keep telling the message board they lost the game for us ohh wise one. Maybe you should tell all of us again who you think lost the game for us, you haven’t done it enough.

God, all I want for Christmas is a healthy Jalen Hurts. 🙏

The defense also allowed Daniels to convert a 4th and 11 with his legs which should never happen, especially at that juncture of the game. I agree though, the offense is more to blame.

Well if they lose their starting QB in the first quarter.... yes this is an option for the outcome
