I’d add the commanders in the 2nd half were selling out on the run. I’d have to go look they but felt like they were blitzing at least 1 out of every 3 plays if not more. The fact we ran zero screens to Barkley is ridiculous. I get we are not great at running screens, but if you catch the commanders selling out like they were, it likely goes for a huge play. I do not understand how we didn’t get Barkley involved in the pass game with Pickett at qb outside of the one down field throw. 

that said, I absolutely hated the red zone calls in the second half. Running three plays to the short side of the field, so you’re eliminating half the field and condensing the field. Not only did you do it once but you did it three times in a row. Add on taking Barkley off the field after hurts went out is just dumb. Already down your starting Qb, starting TE and then best weapon on offense. Basically helping the commanders defense

Fans after a loss focus on a play in the end of the game and forget about all the bad plays the entire game. The ones you cited, the CJGJ penalty yardage, the bad passes from Picket, the sack, the defense giving up huge pass plays to them all day, giving up a lead and letting WAS come back. Even Q gave up a TD and he hasn't all year.

The team lost, for a number of reasons. Smitty's play is one play that could have gone differently, there are also other plays that could have gone differently and they would have won.

Why do the Eagles refuse to let Elliott kick off? Mann couldn't get it into the end zone all game. Why don't you, I don't know... use your kicker?

Yes, it was.  Defense got 5 turnovers and Eagles offense couldn't do anything with it.  If Hurts doesn't get taken out with a cheap shot Eagles win that game easily.

Again, it was a one-score game.  Anything that leads to a score not made by the Eagles mattered.

Elliott missing at the end of the first half.  Pickett under throwing Barkley on the wheel route.  Yada-yada-yada.

The most visible isn't the only reason for the loss.

Neither could the opposing kicker.  I heard it was cold today.

Barkley dropped a pass, Pickett threw a pick, Becton blocked left when he should have blocked right, Calcaterra was abused all game... Brown dropped a ball he shouldn't have.  

Defense gave up a 4th and 11 in the 4th quarter.  Defense didn't get the stop when it was needed the most.  Defense gave up 3 4th quarter TDs.

ST gave up short fields all game long.

 

Smith's one mistake is looming large because of when it happened, but all the other mistakes throughout the game could have been a difference making play.  They ALL had one job, and each of them, in their turn blew it.  TEAM.  

Jake made a few but hw needs to go and they need to sign the guy the Chiefs had for a few weeks. They can't be in the playoffs with an erratic weak legged kicker.

Weak legged?   A bit of a reach given it was a 56 yarder in frigid conditions and wind.   

falcons won today..hopefully seattle pulls out a win

Because he didn’t lose us the game, the defense did. Eagles were in the lead, defense gave up the game winning touchdown drive that actually lost us the game. Not the dropped pass
