Bottom line - The D didn't do their job, Pickett did his job, Devonta dropped the ball, and the Eagles lost the game.  We win next week and the #2 seed and the NFC East go to Philly.

Aubrey half kicks it and goes to the endzone, what are we doing wrong.

It's a tad warmer down in Texas. Washington was only kicking to the goal line also. Biggest issue is the coverage sucked today.

Btw I think we all knew back in the preseason with how badly Pickett played and how much better McKee was and how they were adamant that Pickett is the backup to justify Howie’s only bad move of the offseason, that it was going to come back and play a role in the regular season. And sure enough it did. There is zero reason that Pickett should be getting snaps over McKee. McKee has outperformed him every step of the way, what else is camp for if you can’t earn your spot.

Huh? Pickett was fine. He is a back up QB and did well enough to win the game. 

I said this already but are maybe 12 good QBs in this league and we want the back up to do that well coming in absolutely cold. Foles was a once in a generation

Signing off for a few days.

I’m just beginning my visit to the blog since well before the game.  I can only imagine the overreactions… And I’m not able to go further back than this. I already had a skip forward quite a bit to get to this page.

Personally, I don’t feel all that bad about this loss… but perhaps that’s just me, or I’m in a small minority.  This game was rather telling, however, in several areas.

The obvious thing to take away from this game is how differently defenses will play us without Hurts, and what he truly brings to the effectiveness of the overall running game.  The Eagles o-line is great, but they were fed a couple slices of humble pie this afternoon.  

It absolutely felt like this too.

He was well below "fine”. He sucked

McKee is better and would have been better. That’s the only thing that matters. And in a game that came down to the last second,that could’ve been the difference. He’s just a better thrower of the football than Pickett. Pickett’s best plays were PI’s.

Id add he wasn’t at fault for the disaster inside the red zone in the second half. He didn’t even get the chance to attempt a throw on 3 straight plays where they ran to the short side of the field. When they did let him throw in the end zone aj brown had a touchdown
