Yup.  That was the moment you knew that the coaches were panicking.   From the 3, just run the ball with Barkley twice, on 3rd and 4th down, if you get close enough.   Hated that play call more than any other they have made all season.

So so true! Literally they’ve barely mentioned the Hurts concussion. In fact worse than that… They’ve mentioned it as if it was no big deal nothing to see here. As if it didn’t massively impact the game!

That guy has killed any chance for me to ever really care about the Sixers again.  

With the Vikings/Lions wins, I don't feel nearly as bad about losing today. The absolutely worst-case scenario for this team was playing starters in week 18 with a very small chance of getting the #1 seed.

I've said I don't care about the record.  If it happens then great but if they got nothing to play for week 18 then rest Barkley and let him carry the offense in the playoffs.

Need to take care of business next week and completely and totally pull the plug for week 18.  And I’d like to see Barkley still get a light load next week.

Getting sick of the NFL adding games to the regular season.  Honestly they should've added a second bye when they went to the 18 week format.    Not only do they add all these extra games but then they make it worse by removing the 2nd bye from the playoffs due to the 7th seed, but player safety is soooo important.

No I know and look SB is much more important but I’m just saying there’s a chance we need to play the starters week 18. So there’s a chance Barkley can go get the record.

17 game dude 😊. But I take your point and I agree. And instead of adding a second bye week they take away a bye for the #2 seed. I’d be interested to know the stats on the #1 going to the SB since they changed the rule?

Yeah I meant 18 weeks not 18 games.   And now they are thinking about making it a 19 week schedule, so yeah.

As long as Barkley is a DNP in week 18, I'm fine with him getting 20-25 touches vs. Dallas. The week of rest is what matters given our week 5 bye. 

I'm rooting for Minnesota/Lions to both win next week (so they have to go all out) + Dallas/TB being super physical. 

A week off is enough for us to win 3 straight.

That’s exactly how I feel! That’s a tough game with Jalen starting. That’s a really tough game if Jalen is out.

I personally want to give up on the rushing record. Barkley had 29 carries today. Have him on a pitch count of no more than 15-20 the next game. If gets close naturally with those carries, feel free to adjust. But the last thing they should do is give him another 30ish touch game with #1 seed basically moot.

If hurts is good to go then yeah put him on a pitch count. If not? He’s going to have to go OFF to give us any chance to win.
