Anyone here ever seen the video of Baker getting tackled by the Fayetteville AR police? Hysterical...he was drinking downtown on Dickson St while he was still playing at OU...if you haven't seen it it's worth a google...he got detained and tried to run, police put him down hard.

I'm not worried. Even in the SB year we lost two in a row when Minshew started. Its a long season and things don't fall all in place every week hence they have been no undefeated teams since the 72 Dolphins. Loss today was very disappointing but the sky is not falling.

Maybe we cut Hurts a little slack from now on. He’s not perfect, but at least he’ll never look like this while feeding a dog.

With the talk of a "Week 18 bye", what about a "Week 17 bye"? Let's assume Hurts doesn't clear protocol and can't play against Dallas. What about sitting everyone? Theoretically, the Giants should be easier to beat, they may actually care about holding the #1 overall pick, and just want to get thru the game, and they're just bad enough we may be able to build enough of a lead to sit out the 4th quarter anyway. I could see Dallas wanting to put a physical pounding on us, but the Giants possibly caring less since they have more to lose by winning.

 

Like I said, I don't see it actually happening, and it's risky, but the idea has crossed my mind, and it's a way to ensure we get a "bye" of some kind.

This is what I've been thinking. Let Dallas hurt their draft position and hear us who cares. Best the giants and get the #2 seed

IF Hurts doesn't play and yeah. With a full week of practice and a pissed off team they will kick the hell out of them even with KP starting. It will also help having a game plan around his deficiencies vs one for Hurts who can run.

I hope so but I mean we wanted this team to respond and get angry a lot last year and they didn’t. I want this defense to be real angry and come out with a point to prove. Can they? Absolutely yes! But I’m also not going to be hopeful about it.
