I’m not sure how anybody could watch that game today, and be worried about the Eagles playing them again in the playoffs…especially in Philly with the starting QB…and who knows, perhaps Goedert might even join the party.

I think today went a long way to make that far more likely to happen… And I am perfectly OK with that.

He wasn't amazing but can't expect that from a back up. He got zero snaps this week and played decent, what expect out of a QB

Agree, that the play calling wasn't great. Would have liked to see more deep throws to keep the defense at least honest.

I don’t think it would’ve came down to that play if McKee was in the game. You are making the case Pickett was fine, but I never said he was terrible I just said McKee is better. Pickett didn’t play the worst game in the history of the NFL but McKee has been a better player in all opportunities and I’d like to see him play.

We have never see this dude play in a real game. Give it a rest. People love back up QBs more than starters for a dude that 28 TD 15 INT in college.

Think we can all agree that Grant Cal, blocking was absolutely horrible. He got Pickett hurt on that one throw and Barkley had a long run except for his lack of block.

I’d have liked more dumpoffs with Barkley and screens. Washington was just selling out to stop the run. I really think if you leaked Barkley out or set up a screen it could’ve hit big. Frankly they also should’ve kept throwing to AJ because almost every time they did (outside of his drop) he got positive yards or DPI

What's a screen?

This is now the fourth season in a row Hurts has either missed time or dealt with an injury. Ankle in 2021, shoulder in 2022, knee last year, and now the concussion. Thankfully he hasn’t missed an extended amount of time, but they really need to prioritize a legitimate backup plan for him. Mariota was a flop, Pickett isn’t it, and who knows what they have with McKee. I really do think it’s worth a 2nd or 3rd round pick to invest in a backup you can get on a rookie deal and develop in their system. It’s too important of a position and the offense obviously isn’t the same with him out. They need a guy who is a similar style so they can run the same type of system.

Well, there's that... and then there's also the continued use of the designed QB run.   It's always just a matter of time... and here we are, again.

The Eagles should flat out concede week 18 if it’s an option and they have the #2 seed locked up.

Like, don’t even show up to the stadium and risk your backups. Just send a nice concession letter.

Sorry… But if you saw a loss with Hurts playing in the whole game, I have to question which game you were watching.  That was a 2-score victory if he does not leave the game.

Tbh Pickett was actually decent throwing in the red zone when they gave him the opportunity. He was 2-3 for 10 yards and a TD. Got sacked which frankly they sent more than we could block and Barkley didn’t chip. Can say should’ve thrown to Barkley but i don’t think that was his first read on that play to look that way. 

Never happy with a loss but could this be a blessing in disguise? Didn’t want to go to the playoffs on a 10+ game winning streak without losing. And if we had won today we still might have seen the Commanders in the playoffs and beating a team 3 times in a season is kind of tough. Also think this game could be a wake up call for some of the sloppy play.

I think this is probably the worst Eagles team we've seen in 30 years.
