Did we call a single screen with Kenny Pickett?

Nope. Barkley and gainwell had two targets. We didn’t run a screen all day knowing the commanders were selling out to stop the run and blitzing a ton. It’s why I’ve mentioned disappointed with Moore’s play calling as much as anything

We barely know what he did? Tell the dude he wished his Mom died? Then got his helmet ripped off.

I think it’s pretty obvious that he got caught bating the other guy.  He was within earshot.  To me it doesn’t really matter what he said… Once he got caught the first time, that should’ve been enough.

Never happy with a loss but could this be a blessing in disguise? Didn’t want to go to the playoffs on a 10+ game winning streak without losing. And if we had won today we still might have seen the Commanders in the playoffs and beating a team 3 times in a season is kind of tough. Also think this game could be a wake up call for some of the sloppy play.

It sucks right now because we're still "in the moment", but it's definitely not the end of the world. It all depends on how they respond.

Today was their Super Bowl by the post game celebrations.

The eagles are the only team they beat in regular season over .500: Atl is the remaining team on their schedule with a winning record

Don’t care if he baited him. CJGJ probably deserved a penalty. But the rulebook doesn’t say well if you are baited it’s ok to throw a punch at a player.

Rookie might take them down next week.

Well, it should humble them and get them fired up watching those over the top celebrations in the other locker room.

Well, yeah… There’s that. The other player should’ve been flagged as well. But that would not have stopped his ejection. Point blank, he still hurt the team.

Lamb maybe done for the year.

I was practically begging for a screen to Barkley—Gainwell would’ve been fine, too. Not attempting even one was beyond frustrating.

Ejection is on him for being an idiot after knowing was a personal foul away from being gone then he needs to just not run his mouth. That said that 15 yarder they gave and not offsetting was the difference between having to go 43 yards for a td and 58 yards which with Pickett in the game is big.

I don’t think it’s something to be concerned about out, but it’s more something to take note of for right now. The Eagles defense has started off the last 3 games lights out. Flying to the ball, just playing on fire. And then the Panthers, Steelers, Commies found ways to move the ball. Now the Steelers it didn’t really affect the Eagles because their offense held the ball for like the entire game, and that one fumble basically was it for the Steelers.

I don’t expect the Eagles to play that lights out for the entire game, but I’m hoping it’s just one of those things that happens in the NFL and it’s not teams figuring out the Eagles defense a little bit.

Yup i said it about 4-5 times throughout the course of the game. Not exactly blown away by what Moore has brought to the passing offense this year.

Bucky Irving was selected 2 picks before Will Shipley.

Shipley is 10x better.

I’m not disagreeing with you about it. If you are arguing that it should’ve beenoffsetting penalties, then I agree.  My only point is that if he would’ve just kept his trap shut, then maybe we don’t have to play a back up safety and give up a touchdown or two later… or maybe Daniels could actually get tackled during that big scramble that kept their drive alive.  The officials may have hurt us for that one play, but CJ hurt us for several other plays after that.

That is one Vic then because time of possession especially today was in our favor

Hard to say the Steelers moved the ball when had what 11 plays the 2nd half.

I hope so. Thee eagles win the division and then atl will tentatively be the division leader.

Another issue is last 3 weeks teams are 6 for 8 in the red zone. They are scoring on 75% of their possessions inside the red zone. Today you also got big plays that killed them.

Don’t disagree. He has to know when to keep his mouth shut. That said, part of their issue on the Daniels big run is cause guys lost lane integrity and containment far too often this game. Particularly our edge guys. Frankly it’s something Graham as a seasoned vet is better at then some of the younger guys

Eagles allowed a game winning TD drive today and were a Legette drop away from allowing it vs Carolina too. Night and day vs how the defense started the game. Giving up 36 points when you forced 5 turnovers is hard to do.

Tbh i don’t think they’ve been great at containment outside of the Steelers game over the last 4. I thought Lamar could’ve ran more and hurt them. Bryce young managed to keep plays alive and make plays cause of it. And Daniels also hurt them today cause of it. Doesn’t help when you have two Qb hits and 1 sack. Feels like the defense with a bunch of young guys like dejean and Mitchell who haven’t played this many games in their careers are getting worn down. Having a bye week in week 5 sucks cause I’m guessing we need guys to have a second wind.

I know, but take a look at the crap on X from the team and their fans.
