Flyers just aren’t even showing any pride right now.  Fire Tortorella already.

Fire him simply for continuing to play Ersson in net.

Would've been awfully nice if this Packers team didn't crap the bed against the Lions.

I took exception with all the silly chest puffing yesterday about how the Eagles will easily steamroll WAS in the playoffs.

Many folks wanted to say that we dominated them in the first matchup…which is partially true. However, even with all of that domination, they still had a chance if they recover an onsides kick.

Do you think they are capable of scoring from the Eagles 40 with 30 seconds left? Of course they are….they just did it yesterday! And got the 2 point conversion.

So whatever. I believe WAS and Daniels have proven to be a bad matchup and very problematic for the Eagles. Others disagree I suppose.

I think what drives me nuts about this is that our coaches (mainly Moore) didn’t make adjustments to help Pickett.  No game plan change, he hasn’t seen game action in a long time, and his skill set is very different from Hurts. Not to mention he stinks.  Meanwhile it’s like their defense planned and prepared for this exact injury after Saquon’s long run. Hurts out. Run blitz.  Do not allow Saquon to beat us. I expect Kellen Moore to at least attempt something creative to keep the offense on the field.

Coach talk.  Eagles clearly adjusted to what rhe Redskins were doing.  Redskins were selling out on the run so Eagles called/forced Teo Gloves to push the ball down the field more.  Resulted in an AJ catch on an under throw and some fortunate PI calls but still Washington never respected the threat enough to stop selling out on the run.

They need to prepare with McKee as the starter this week instead of Two Gloves.

Likewise.  Ruined my Sunday and most of today.  The new rules where only the #1 seed gets a bye has so greatly slanted the advanced to the #1 seed that knowing now they have near no chance to land it after that game ruins my outlook on everything.

Yeah. I was hoping against hope we get the 1 seed as for all our last 3 SB appearances we had the top seed and played the NFCCG at home. The possibilities of that happening are much slimmer as the 2 seed.

For sure but once you land it will feel a LOT better.  In the end, it won't be anything more than one of those infuriating losses to the Redskins when we should have beaten them.  It has happened so many times I've lost count.

My least favorite new rule is that only the 1 seed gets the bye.  Horrible.  It basically destroys competition for the #2 seed.   #1 seed should get the bye and homefield advantage with the #2 seed still getting the bye without homefield advantage guaranteed.  That's something they need to figure out in years to come. 

The site has been extremely slow to load embedded tweets since the last update. Almost unusable now in terms of waiting for them.

I don't know about that.

We started just running as much as possible and when they sold out to stop that they got hit by some nice balls, including a nice throw to a completely open Smith that should have sealed it.

Enough adjustment for me. Just need to execute. For real this game.

What should he have said? Yeah we dumbed it down hard and tried to run for the win knowing our backup is weak?

I feel like this offense still only gets around 80% of what AJ is capable of doing. He somehow still feels underused even with his incredible production. The only argument I’ll have against TO is he wasn’t here long enough, but I view AJ as the best receiver this team has ever had.

Honestly what is there to dumb down?  We threw more than we would have if Hurts played.  The biggest difference was the lack of designed qb runs and the lack of tuck and run.

The only possible way the top 2 teams get a bye is to have an even number of teams play. Which means the only viable solution is to add an 8th team in each conference. That along with an eventual 18th game is likely coming in the near future.
