It doesn't require a big arm, see Montana, et al.

Just the smarts to recognize who coming open quickly.

And there is the problem…processing

I love Lemon's hands and I think he can be a very effective player if used correctly. I do have some questions about his movement ability and lack of size.

He's certainly a slot WR.

He has some Amon-Ra St. Brown to him. St. Brown is a small guy who doesn't move at an elite level, but is still a top 10 WR in the NFL.

Lemon has strengths. He was weaknesses. Coaches have to put him in the position to succeed.

So we selected a slow midget at wr?

Some of you are so miserable!! Lad doesn't drop catches, makes plenty of yards after contact, pretty quick and a great route runner. Aj is off but this is a great acquisition. Cheer up

Given this I guess Howie had Lemon above Freeling on his board, who knows about Proctor. But he said the only one they projected in the top 15 to not go top 15 was Lemon.

I think they woudln't have had Simpson in the top 15.

Which tells me had it instead been Vega or Proctor or Fano or Mauigoa or Bain dropping instead of Lemon - they probably make the same trade to get one of their top tier guys.

And they had those 15 in a different tier to names like Sadiq, Miller, Ihanechor, Freeling, Cooper who were some of the common names mocked to us at 23

Route running and hands are more important than size and speed at WR, or why Reagor is an afterthought and Jefferson is an Allpro.

In the new offense, a lot of short passes require WRs who can route precise routes and get open quickly and consistently catch the ball to keep the chains moving.

Eagles should have much better 3 and 4 WR groupings this season in terms of getting open underneath.

Lemon isn’t tall but he’s not a small guy. He’s 195+ lbs and built like a physical running back. He’s not going to out jump many people but he’s not frail.

Would love Lemon to be a middle class man's Steve Smith, that guy was awesome

2028.

The offseason between 2027 and 2028 is when we have an out in his contract and the writing is clearly on the wall. We have changed our offense schematically. Hurts needs to adapt or he’s gone. I’m betting gone.

Agreed. He gets every chance to evolve over the next year and into 2027. If he does great. If not it will be the end.

Need to address OL at some point. If not today then a MUST in next years draft.

Draft today. 2 rounds.

In college all that is true. We'll see how it pans out in the NFL. I choose to be skeptical.

Justin Jefferson ran a 4.45 and is 6'1"

Lemon is not as sturdy or fast as Steve Smith if you want to try that angle. Jefferson a couple inches taller. Hopefully Lemon combines the best of the two and goes to the HOF, haha. Odds are he’s just decent.

Yes, hopefully he's a star. I'll take decent at this point if it means he can get open , Hurts can find him, he can catch and get some yac. My gut is telling me otherwise. Happy to be wrong.
