Lemon on the big boards:

Jeremiah - 12

Brugler - 13

PFF - 15

McShay - 14

Kiper - 11

But he’s a talentless, slow, midget receiver!

I guess I shouldn't get too down, there's a lot of good safties left for tomorrow.

McNeil Warren

AJ Haulcy

Kamari Ramsey

Zakee Wheatley

Bud Clark

Hoping the Eagles select three of the four positions today:

OT/OG

DE

S

TE

All very big needs.

So hitches and verts are out, and he might be hard to see working out of the slot. Who me worry… not really, a lot can change in 4-5yrs.

Personally, I would’ve gone with Thieneman because I know he’d be utilized by Vic - but there’s still some good safeties available.

The eagles draft a wr in the first 2 rounds whose talent and upside are questioned with, at best, a mixed and rationalized reaction.

When was the last time this went anything but terribly? We are going to pretend this is the first time we’ve seen the start of this movie?

I hardly see it that way at all. It sounds as if you are projecting your opinions as the majority. I don’t see his talent and speed being questioned.

If I’d be worried about anything regarding Lemon is that I’ve read some of his interviews were not so great. Some seem to be put off by his demeanor. I’m willing to see how he fits and trust Howie’s research on him for now. We’ll see on that.

But his talent, route running, quickness, and hands? Difficult to question those imo

Why does every Josina tweet make less sense than the last one? Just say what it is then

I'm afraid their guy is Kilgore. Lots of stuff about them doing a lot of homework on him.

Lot of people were upset with DeVonta. Also Maclin.

Kilgore needs to do the homework, I don’t think he’s seeing the field for awhile.

I’d feel a lot better with the Lemon pick if Moorehead wasn’t here

Lemon is pretty polished in the things that he does… now if we had gone with Chris Bell in the 2nd (a real project coming off injury), then I’d be feeling not great.

Draft today. 2 rounds.

Big if true.

That might be a decent reason to like the pick since Lemon is pro ready. It’s a good reminder, though. Imagine him developing Hurst or Bell. No shot.

Great minds…

Another pet peeve of mine…year to year awareness. The 2027 wr class is going to be absolutely loaded. And now we’re done at the position. Our long term WR corps will be Smith, Lemon, Wicks. Congested offense.

Funniest part of this is you've got 2 with laptops... and you've got Mike with the binder. roll. I always knew he was old school... but he's seriously old school.

I understand the sentiment, but if a blue chip WR somehow makes it to their pick next year he shouldn’t be ruled out today. We don’t have our long-term X. By this time next year they might see Wicks as uninspiring as a X and Lemon as more of a slot.

I haven’t watched Howie’s press conference. I know he said they projected Lemon to go top 15. Did he say specifically that he had a round 1 grade on him?

I figure next year, there will be room to draft a X replacement for Wicks - not in the 1st as we’re getting really painted into a corner at tackle but still an upgrade.

Certainly DeVonta’s size was a question coming in. Reasonable concern for sure but of course he’s been great.

I’m excited to see our first round rookie WR rocking number 38 in rookie camp.

We arent done. Wicks sucks. Hollywood is close to washed. Moore may not make the team....
