As for his direct comparison, the Rams just brought in Max Klare and Rohan Jones, both "F” types. The 9ers have Jake Tonges. Yes, the 9ers have Kittle and he’s been the best all around TE in the NFL since Gronk hung up his cleats, but both of those teams have pure pass catchers on their roster.

Bell I think is a unique situation in that maybe he doesn’t fit the stereotype of an OZ tackle, but he has enough movement skills and such rare physical proportions that he can play in an OZ system while still giving you another dynamic to his game. Plus, finding a guy in a weak draft in the mid rounds who can actually pass protect at a starter’s level isn’t easy.

Okay, so Mannion who has very little experience already will also be moving away from the system that he's coming up from... okay, I hope he isn't eating sh** by week 4.

Max Klare played in-line at Ohio State, where they run the ball a lot. He's a 2-way TE, that's why he was drafted in the 2nd without even running the 40.

Bell has 1.84 10yd/split, he's slow off the ball, he's not agile - this is not the combination that you want for OZ, as the RB will have to cut it back behind his block consistently. Yes, I see his upside in a high volume passing offense - but I thought we were trying to fix the run game schematically and that's why we moved on from Stout.

Meh. He's huge, athletic, smart and came from a good program. It was a need and a relatively premium position. Given how relatively weak the class was that's pretty damn good in the 6th round career expectations are pretty low.

Yeah don’t know how Thomson is fired but long somehow stays. Their hitting has been bad the last 2 postseasons and really since game 6 of the 2023 nlcs and their bats have been atrocious this year. There’s no way you can fire Thomson and justify keeping long lol.

If one of our OL draft picks/additions in the last 2 years can become a good starter then it will really help. If 2 of them do it's a home run

Should have been done at the end of the season, but they decided to extend him this past December only to cut loose 4 months later. Dombrowski is a dope. Can't believe he isn't gone as well with the past two pitiful off seasons. Phils have become a joke of an organization.
