Curious if he'll still not want to run and if the coaches tell him to anyway

He's slow as heck now. I hope they don't want him to run much. It's painful watching him trying to beat anyone to the edge.

Nothing in this post is true. The contract thing you've stated several times and you just flat out made it up. Nowhere has it been reported he wants a new contract. He didn't have a "terrible" year, he had a down year, there is a difference. The team that has the coveted entity will always have the leverage.

So you don't think new money has anything to do with this? When next year he is guaranteed very little. You just have to read between the lines and understand business and AJ's track record to know that this is primarily about money. If Eagles offered him a new extension/guaranteed money. I'm sure he would want to stay. Don't think he and Hurts were on same page and he has expired here. Too many factors here that make it obvious he is absolutely finished here, as per my sources. 😉😄Accept it mate!

You stated definitively, as fact, that he wants a new contract. This has not been reported anywhere. In fact, it has been reported that he does NOT want a new contract by the most reliable reporters on the planet. If you are gonna make a claim, you need to be able to back it up.

You are a phony and you know it. I've been mocking that feed for months now. I get a good laugh out of it. Thanks!!

Really, all any of us are doing until we see how next year's season plays out with all the changes is inconveniencing pixels. I hope we see a competent offense unlike 2025-26. The defense was good enough last year but they needed some help and didn't really get it.

I am just as hopeful for the changes in the run game. I would like more misdirection and WR runs. Also, something besides hitch routes and 4 verticals in the passing game.

And don't forget this one. Many more where that came from. 200w.gif

First of all I'm honored and flattered that you would think I run an account of that stature. Alas, I am merely an admirer of his greatness. It's not everyday one can say they've never gotten a story wrong. And he has not. It's why I'm a fan.

Its kind of bad timing that 2 players that would benefit the most from this scheme have 1 foot out the door with AJ Brown allegedly heading to the pats and Goedert knows this is his last year here. I'd like the Eagles to get Boutte from the pats in return.

2026 is shaping up to be 12 personnel heavy as they make this transition to Mannions offense. Next year I think will be more focused on the OL and run game. Barkley can cover up a lot of deficiencies with a competent OC.

Boutte would seem like a waste and lower the trade value. We already have 4 WR locks not counting Brown. Boutte would be about $4M for a 5th WR and none of the 5 play ST's outside of Lemon maybe returning kicks. On top of that Boutte is a UDFA next year so he wouldn't even help long term once Wicks or H.Brown move on.

He should move to fullback .

I'm very impressed with the 0 followers. You may want to work on that! Why don't you follow it yourself since you're such a huge fan?

I don't see how Howie has any leverage here. Very few bidders here besides Pats. The whole league knows he wants out and isn't coming back. And...wants a mega contract. Besides injury concerns, age, a terrible last year, being a malcontent, and wanting a huge contract... sure, Howie has a ton of leverage. Be happy with the 2028 1st rounder and run real fast Howie.

The Eagles will probably have to throw Hurts in the deal to get anything of value.

On the other point I think a deal is done already but I also don't buy the no leverage thing. The Pats aren't the only team that would trade for AJ Brown. And if the Eagles don't get what we hope then that's what the market was. We know Howie is good at this part

Who are the 4 locks? Devonta, Lemon, Wicks and ? I don't think Cooper, Wilson or Covey are locks for the team. They also signed Elijah Moore.

LMFAO. You need to look into a comedy career because you are wasting valuable hours a day posting nonsense in here. At least can make some money in that! Not much, but better than this gig. Can ask @NOTW for some pointers in such endeavors.

I'm way behind all of you in draft talk but if you will indulge me here is my take.

Like many of you I was very underwhelmed. Combination of reaching for some players, drafting for need (or wrong player for real need), and most importantly passing on value picks that gives me a bad feeling about or draft haul this year.

Round 1: I'm totally ok with Lemon pick. Hoping he will be a really good WR2 + real need once AJ is gone. Also probably Howie's top OTs were gone by pick 20. Guessing he didn't believe as much as others in Max Iheanachor or Caleb Lomu. Maybe drafting Dillon Thieneman would have made a ton of sense but drafting a top WR is ok.

Round 2: this is where the wheels come off. You really have to believe in Stowers as a top pass catcher to draft a guy who can't block. Also have huge issues with drafting someone who doesn't have a chance of starting in this round. I liked Emmanuel McNeil-Warren here since he had dropped some. Cap is hard enough to not draft starting players in first two rounds... even early third. Which leads me to....

Round 3: Too many question on Markel Bell. Most experts have him capping out as a swing tackle or he will have to move to G at that height, making it hard to move. I hope I'm and they are wrong. I would have picked A. J. Haulcy or Emmanuel Pregnon here. We needed OL help and Pregnon could be a starter this year. We will have injuries on the OL so getting starter potential vs a project makes a lot more sense to me.

Finally totally ok with trading pick 98 to get Greenard. But hate that we have used three 3rd picks over last 12 months to cover for Josh Sweat... who singed for less money than Philips and Greenard.

Later rounds I'm not going to waste anyone's time with... they are all crapshoots and just hope we picked well... but doesn't seem we got value... rather picked based on our own board. And too bad we didn't have 4th... lots of value in that round this year.

Hollywood Brown. His contract isn't crazy but it's $5M fully guaranteed. It's mostly all signing bonus also so it wouldn't even make much sense to trade him.

OK - that would be great. As per my prior post, I would be happiest if he has his best season ever next year. Regardless of what I think and want, I also think there's a possiblity the team is entering next offseason looking to possible trade Hurts.

They won't be and they don't have the ability to.

I'd change Broncos to no. They think they have their franchise guy in Nix
