We've reached new levels of Jalen Hurts hate.

You must not be here on game day

I look forward to CJGJ being signed in July-August. He brings Super Bowl runs and nothing less.

The Bills already signed him.

And talk about a headache player, makes AJ look like a saint. Vic wanted him out, so never was an option.

Oh I am. At least it's mostly about his on the field play.

We've got football today.

Wonder if Hurts gets benched today. Offense probably too complicated.

Daniel Jeremiah's red star, high energy-high effort type players regardless of position & no particular order:

Keionte Scott - Bucky Brooks doubled down here

Emmanuel McNeil-Warren - Bucky Brooks doubled down here

D'Angelo Ponds - Bucky Brooks doubled down here

Rueben Bain

Omar Cooper

Makai Lemon

Akheem Mesidor

Kenyon Sadiq

Keylon Rutledge - Bucky Brooks doubled down here (thinks his movement skills are underated)

Bryce Bethcer

Bud Clark - Bucky Brooks doubled down here

I saw that and my main thought is, his red star means something different than our red star because I dont think anyone would have Lemon on their red star list with the way he bombed combine media and team interviews.

Definitely, he was talking about high-energy high-effort players mostly. Lemon really is off-putting. Ashame because I do think he will be a very good on the field player.

Fair enough

He’ll be fine, can always check it down to the water coolers.

Clearly done to free up cap space for an AJ brown trade.

Really didn’t do anything to clear cap space. Arguably signing both Epps and Gray (likely vet minimums) cost more in the short term. Doubt both stick.

I kind of have this feeling that as part of any review at the end of the season, Howie talks with the coaches on a kind of evaluation of roster players. Sort of a come, go or 🤷. I imagine the best Brown got was a 🤷. On the Jack Welch approach on a scale of 1-5, I think Sydney got a flat 2 from Vic and Kasper and a flat 3 from Clay. So he took the trade value and replaced his STs, for the moment, with Gray and his back up spot at S with Epps, for the moment. But Carter has a real shot at both spots, especially if they draft a S.

Have to Imagine they love the oregon safety

I'm hoping they love McNeil-Warren

Id be thrilled with either but I think I favor McNeil-Warren despite Theineman's incredible workout.

Only logical explanation is we are trading up for Caleb downs

Hi. Happy Saturday! 😊🦅

So with Safety squared away until the draft and Hollywood Brown also added this week I would say we are down to edge rusher and OL depth as the only legit needs before we head into the draft. These are some guys still available.

Edge Rusher

The Greenard trade seems dead but you never know. I also think Crosby getting traded at all could be dead but either way I don't see the Eagles getting involved. Basically we are down to another Uche/Ojulari type signing or a veteran mercenary type and I would be a little bit surprised if they did that but regardless here are a few guys who might fit that bill:

Joey Bosa

Haason Reddick

Jadeveon Clowney

Leonard Floyd

Joe Tryon-Shoyinka

Clelin Ferrell

Yetur Gross-Matos

Offensive Line

I still think this is a major concern for the team with the injury history of Dickerson/Jurgens, and Lane. They can and probably will draft two or three OL in the draft and possibly one very early, but they would still benefit from a guy or two with starting NFL experience to provide depth.

Jonah Williams

Fred Johnson

Mekhi Becton

Liam Eichenberg

Kayode Awosika

I like Scott and Clark a lot. Hope EMW falls to us or we just make a small move up to like 20 or 19

Who the heck are Ambry Thomas and Brandon Johnson

Brandon Johnson is an UDFA that played NCB in PS last year and looked good. Note that several of those listed as S by Zach have NCB capabilities, Carter, Johnson and Mukuba. I also think that Cooper has similar flexibility. Castro-Fields is listed as DB and always has been. I think he may be more FS than CB. Thomas stuck on the PS most of the season as did Castro-Fields. Johnson was there all season long. (As was Sam). I was impressed by what little we saw of Johnson. Seemed less lost than McWilliams.

They have a much better viewpoint than we do in the secondary players in the draft. They speak to coaches and other players so they have an idea on communication skills. They have access to practices and practice film to some degree and they have All22. I am hesitant on grading CBs, Ss and WRs because we rarely see how they play when the ball isn’t coming their way on TV.

This year, 0 Ss at the Combine ran the 3 cone and shuttle. Those are important drills for me because I don’t have the film teams have. So often when they do at Pro Days, all we get are numbers not speed. I want to see bend at LB and Edge/OLB, but what I want to see with Ss, CBs and WRs (and to some degree RBs and TEs) is steps to turn and stop. Very important for speed players. Then you put the tape on and see if it translates on the field.
