This was an impressive play by Speed. If he could take it seriously and step away from streaming for it, he would be worth a shot to give a tryout or sign for camp and try to see if you can develop him at DB.

Unfortunately this clip doesn't show the full close up field camera angle of the play that they showed on TV. He grabbed DeVonta a little on his back but then did a great job hitting his arm after the catch as DeVonta was coming down to knock it out of his hands. Even on that 2nd deep TD pass to DeVonta, Speed was on him pretty good considering he is just this extremely athletic streamer going against one of the best WRs in the league.

Is this one of the most confident OLs we have ever seen?

Pass-Blocking Tackle: Trey Zuhn, Texas A&M

Trey Zuhn, the No. 136 prospect on the PFF Big Board, measured 6-foot-6 and 312 pounds at the combine with 32 ½-inch arms. He was listed as a guard at the event, suggesting a potential position switch at the next level, but in 2025, he was one of the best pass-blocking tackles in college football. He also logged 126 snaps at center.

Zuhn allowed just two sacks, one quarterback hit and seven hurries on 435 pass-blocking snaps in 2025. His 96.8 PFF pass-blocking grade ranked first among all tackles in the class.

Ballsy - I like it

Devonta just had an unreal catch for a 2 point conversion from Hurts. Laying out completely horizontal out of the endzone with his feet inbounds. Can't wait for the replay or image of the screen pause they did on the replay gets posted on twitter.

Put him down for 1200 + yards in this new system.

Its unfortunate there isnt more to watch on youtube on this guy. I first heard about him maybe a month ago, and now his name is beginning to pop up on more sites and youtube channels.

Pass-Blocking iOL: Febechi Nwaiwu, Oklahoma

Febechi Nwaiwu finished the 2025 season with a 91.6 PFF pass-blocking grade, tied for first among guards in the class. He did not allow a sack or quarterback hit and surrendered just two hurries on his pass-blocking snaps.

Nwaiwu measured 6-foot-4 and 319 pounds at the combine with 34 ¼-inch arms, and he appears to be continuing to grow into his frame and skill set. He is currently the No. 342 prospect on the PFF Big Board.

Bottom right of the videos is the catch.

He will be one of my OPTY bets. Especially if AJ is traded then I think DeVonta is going to have an absolutely monster season in this new offense. I can see 1,600+ yards and 14+ TDs

Crazy to think about how Jalen Hurts and DeVonta Smith are only now just about to enter their primes but they started playing together 9 years ago.  I can't wait until that connection is really unlocked this year in the new offense.

Who said it was the same?

It does, however, show additional interest above just meeting with at the pro day.

You said "coming in” for a private workout. I read "coming in” as coming to Philly, hence my response. Seems like we misunderstood each other. What I was focusing on is that it sure sounds like the Birds are sending folks to the pro days but meeting with them. I have seen several tweets that have said things like taking a player to dinner, leading the workout on some drills, Zoom calls and private workouts. (Plus some Eagles Day participation, "local” visits and 30 day visit commitments). Some teams don’t have that kind of approach. Coaches not going to the combine. Relying more on film. I like hearing that the Birds have folks out there meeting with players. Learning how they take direction, their love of ball, etc. Eagles like intelligent players. I think the one on ones are great for that sort of thing.

If you can scout a player at the podium, Id say this kid LOVES ball. There was another one of him talking about having a bowl game and he is just glowing talking about having another opportunity to play a game. Genuine smile, and excitement in his voice.

Then you have the confidence in the two videos I posted. I like the guy and I hardly watched him play football.

He played well enough at tackle too. Highest PFF pass blocking grade of all the tackles in the class!

But they project him as a guard, and he has played some center. Very useful utility OL. But who knows, maybe he can be better than Toth too.

Been gloating on FIL. We’re going home for the Sweet Sixteen. Go Coogs. Hoping my Dad’s Huskers can join us in the 16.

Well usually later editions are better. If so, Birds might consider him.

DeVonta Smith looks like a 1st round pick in the flag league. Jalen Hurts = UDFA

RTK was #8 on the other team. Clearly can see that guy on replay honking Hurts' horn, or grabbing his 3rd flag, whatever you want to call it.

I can’t believe that heave almost went in. I’ll be a big Hawkeye fan tomorrow. I want no part of Florida.
