Honestly, I think the trade is basically done already. Schefter has been the one national reporter with credibility to sit on the fence the entire time. He even leaned to Brown staying multiple times. For him to suddenly switch and not only say a trade is likely but mention a specific team makes me think he knows something.

I would agree. Schefter is notorious for sitting on the fence when it comes to rumors, but then being the one to report something being finalized. They obviously can't say it's done done since it isn't June yet but that is about as close to saying the trade is done without literally saying it. Then you have others reporting the same thing this morning and it seems pretty obvious something finally got worked out over the weekend and it's 100% just a matter of getting to June to make it official.

Not saying what I want, just what I expect it to be. The holdup already was reportedly Patriots would give up #31 this year but Howie wanted their 2027 1st. To break that impasse would be a 2028 first. Howie isn't shy about trading for future picks either. We haven't even used the Reddick pick yet and he was traded in 2024.

I would tell the Patriots you can give us your 2027 first OR a 2027 3rd and 2028 first and take whichever they prefer. I would be extremely happy with just a first at this point but if it isn't until 2028 I would want another decent pick.

Can throw in a Russini used tampon with the 1st. All good.

Shame Patriots don't play here this season. Would love the selfish me first AJ Brown to get booed.

So I got a notice of a recall issue on one of my vehicles about six months or so ago. Last week, I got a notice in the mail that the fix was in from the manufacturer. I called my dealer today and was told the fix was not in. She suggested I contact the manufacturer to find out why there was a notice that the fix was available as that doesn’t match what they have.

I called the manufacturer recall help line. They call that a Customer Advocate. (I never felt andvocated for). After wading through the chatbot crap, five questions and three number punches, I finally get a person. She immediately starts asking for personal information. Told her my name. Asked for my email, I declined. She said she has to get that information. I decline, I just want a question answered. Here is the recall number I am calling about. What’s your phone number? Thinking they may need to call back, I provide. She matches to a car I got rid of over a decade ago and asks if my alternative number is a work number from about fifteen years ago. No. What is your address? I provide. The VIN? I provide. Another email request. I decline and ask how the deal with folks like my neighbor who has never had email address in her life (she’s 89). Again, I don’t want to play gather all my personal information, I just want a question answered. Basically, is a fix in for this recall number or not. If yes, can you inform my dealer, if not, will you send out another notice when the fix is actually in? Now why does a corporation want all my personal information to answer a question? "We have protocol to do this.” I explain I don’t care about their rules, I just want my question answered. Between chatbots and crap like this, customer service has taken a huge hit. After fifteen minutes just to get my question out and another 20 on hold, I kind of get an answer. The fix is on its way but the letter was a bit premature. So will I get another notice when the fix is really available? They don’t know. I can keep checking with them. So half an answer and switching the burden on determining when the fix is in.

It's gonna be fun watching AJ Brown crash and burn in New England. As they find out soon, they may be getting past his prime Alshon Jeffery here (by 2027 season at latest). If AJ is so good, like Patriots think, they may have a false sense of security in giving up the 2027 picks. If I'm Howie, I go for the 2028 draft compensation, as by then the AJ Brown honeymoon will be long over and probably be dogging it or hurt. By then he will be pouting and trying to sucker them for his bi-annual request for a contract extension, as he plays 10 games a year for them. This will not end well for the Patriots. If Howie gets a 1st rounder for him, he has pulled off one of his best con jobs to date.

I really hope they get the 2027 first. I think next year is going to be really bad for thr Patriots. Super Bowl hangover. Vrbael-Russini circus. Now a WR coming in that demands to be the center piece of everything offensively.

I could see 2028 being a natural bounce back year for them. 2027 will be our chance to land a top 25 pick from them.

Good point, Drake Maye will be forcing shidd all over the place in 2027 with his new toy. In 2028, AJ will be on IR and Pats will be back to normal.

Stupidest post of the day (and she is competing with Schefter and Berman on the AJ Brown crap). Eagles their back up QB to be a back up for an NFC competitor. Yeah, that makes sense. (Chalk that up to an OSU education).

I think McKee is going to get traded. Either in a deal for a player or another pick to replenish what they lose if they trade up.

What do you think of this idea for McKee

Eagles trade McKee and picks 23 and 54 to Pittsburgh for picks 21, 53, and 76. That's basically equivalent to the 2nd pick in the 3rd round

Customer service is the first place companies make cuts when they do layoffs and they try to make the experience as miserable as possible so customers give up because when you are calling customer service it's likely going to be something that costs them money so they want people to get so frustrated they hang up. There are dozens of companies now that used to have direct lines to actual people that are all now replaced to automated bots that don't have answers to your questions and will eventually just hang up on you after it gives you information you didn't even ask for. Or will just have responses that go "We don't recognize that response. Goodbye" and just hang up. It's designed that way on purpose.

Even Amazon which used to have great CS they hide on their site how to contact customer service through like 10 different clicks. It used to be on the front page. They want you to use their AI bots first. And they want your email so they can send you spam emails.

Customer service is the worst it has ever been and won't get any better. Some online retailers I shop at have removed the option to cancel orders you've made. Now you need to send an email(lol... what is this... 2004?) and wait for them to get back to you. Of course by the time they do your item will have already shipped and then if you want to return it you'll need to pay return shipping and trek it to a shipper. They of course know this, which is why they did it. Companies will look for any edge to make an extra buck and screw the consumer.

Dumbest idea ever

Just say the 76th overall. Why waste your breath with typing in moving up 1 or 2 spots. Your getting a 3rd rounder...BAM done.

BUT , NO. If Im Howie I want 2027 picks

2027 2nd round? 🤔

Very few people would boo him, fogtag

@HazletonEagle I'm against trading AJ but that 2027 qb class is a good one. We can take what we get for AJ and find qb1 replacement

I’m thinking McKee and a 2027 second for Garrett. Post June 1, of course.

fly

I think Tippet is going to score in tonight's game. Had some good looks in game 1.

Foerster too?

What they are saying…

I've never seen him smiling so much since they got KP out of here and now the locker room cancer as well.

Just wait until Hurts has his best season yet (without the cancer) and all of the cucks heads explode.

I have a throw away email address people like that get. I empty it - usually unread - every few weeks or months.
