I was reviewing this in my head today

QB room: awesome

WR room: awesome

RB room: strong

TE room: awesome

Oline room: strong

CB room: awesome

DT room: awesome

LB room: deep even after losing Dean, and awesome if Campbell improves even a little bit

S room: complicated but not awesome

DE room: I’m content with Greenard as our #1 and Hunt + Smith + maybe BG rotating around. But If we get sweat and we have a 1A and a 1B, this goes straight to awesome. Hunt and Smith as the B team is about as good as any rotation on earth.

This would be sick, and we have some capital now to play around with. Don’t forget, Sweat was our DE1 when we won the SB, and he just had 12 sacks. He knows Fangio’s system

Forgot about Tank, RB room is awesome

I would deal smith and a 4th that could become a 3rd depending on how sweat does here. I still think the safety position is the most concerning. After that I’d say wide receiver cause after Smitty it’s a bunch of upside but question marks. Wicks has upside but never been able to put it all together and catch the ball consistently. Lemon is a rookie. Can Hollywood brown stay healthy and is he what he was a couple years back. Cooper is a question mark and not sure what Wilson is after injury. Not sure if Moore even makes the team

In sweat’s situation, he’s not worth a 3 and smith. Smith absolutely has some value (even if well below the value of the pick we took him with). I’d even argue sweat may be dealt for less than what it’d take a team to get smith from us. Word is Sweat isn’t a Packer yet because ARI wants a 3 and GB will only offer a 4

Imagine you're John Clark. You post this picture of Cooper DeJean, and report absolutely NOTHING about his eye. wtf John? Fire yourself.

It’s fake. Twitter or X stopped letting everyone see who likes posts

I wouldn't bother. All he does is complian. He sure is certain what's going to happen or not. He doesn't know crap.

Cardinals are a bad organization. I could totally see them forcing him to play there if they don’t get what they want. Frankly I’d do smith and a 4th. I get smith has upside but he’s also injury prone and really in his career he had that stretch in 2024 and the playoffs but otherwise he’s been pretty underwhelming

I don’t get why everyone keeps linking Eagles to DE’s/OLB’s. They signed Ebikete, traded for Greenard and still have Hunt and Smith and probably bringing back Graham.

They changed the head coach, QB was in his second year and added several players.

General idea is if the roster remains largely the same(especially QB) and the head coach remains the same... how many teams can you name off the top of your head that performed drastically better the next season with just an OC change or scheme change?

Smith is not reliably healthy, or effective.

We are still waiting for Hunt to take the next step and become consistent.

Nobody really trusts Ebikete

And nobody really wants Graham to have to come back again, nor do we want to actually rely on him.

Its not a great position on the depth chart.

2024 Eagles, on both sides of the ball.

It's so bizarre to me how some people try to minimize or somehow don't realize the impact and importance of good coaching in football, and likewise the impact of bad coaching. We will find out this season what we have in Sean Mannion at OC, but what we know is that we had the worst OC in the league last year and the worst OC that I have seen for the Eagles this century.

If Mannion turns out to be a disaster then obviously the offense will suck. But if he can be good to great at OC then the improvement from last year will be substantial just for a restoration of competency at offensive play caller.

Also not sure we can say the offensive roster is staying mostly the same. Outside of DeVonta Smith it is essentially an entirely new WR core and same goes for TEs outside of Goedert because no chance Calcentera makes the team this year.

The eagles are linked to pretty much everyone who has ever remotely been made available, but yea I've never understood it either

2024 Eagles …..

To be fair, the scheme change failed passing wise and during the bye week they went back to the Hurts passing offense.

They just focused/leaned on Barkley significantly and teams were not ready for. The success in 24 was defense and a magicial season by Barkley.

Might be faked then. The screenshot is definitely IG template.

I like Sweat. But not parting with more than a 4th plus a 5th pick (Brown pick). Would prefer to see if Smith can take the next step after a healthy offseason. He wants out and he could expire at any moment with those knees. The situation is no longer dire at DE and we need to keep our higher picks to replenish roster.

That's not true. The offense wasn't drastically better in 2024. It probably wasn't better at all. The defense was. The passing game was better in 2023 than 2024. The running game was better in 2024 than 2023... because they added Barkley and Becton. Pretty big deal.
