He is firmly a 2nd or 3rd string QB, trending closer to 3rd string. If he had any mobility and even a little bit of ability to throw on the move he could be a decent #2. Unfortunately, he can't do either. Dalton ain't it either but the Eagles brought him in to compete for the #2 as they aren't sold on McKee.Let's be honest here, he played one game in which the WRs/TE/HBs and Oline were all 3rd string/practice squad guys against Wash first team defense. You can't really call that "Starting"

Some relationships need space.I knew a couple guys in high school that were best friends. They decided to room together at Rutgers as freshmen. They weren't speaking to each other by the end of the year."too thick to stick" I think that happens more times than not.

Either for contractual reasons, for diva reasons, for "I can't win here, trade me to a winning team" reasons, teams blowing it up to rebuild reasons. Some guys who could be available over the next year:Top tier:Puka Nacua - bit off more than he could chewGarrett Wilson - Jets suck, seem to have a boner for accumulating picksTee Higgins - keeping him and Chase will be difficult long-term with their contractsJa'Marr Chase - less likely than Higgins, but their owner is a cheap ass and maybe he decides the one he wants to keep is the cheaper oneJustin Jefferson - least likely of the names so far, but the NFC North is really good, the Vikings are far and away the weakest team. If the Vikings continue to suck and badly need a QB, they may decide to cash out on JJ and use the picks to rebuild that thing and find a QB.Next tier:Marvin Harrison Jr - just hasn't been as good as advertised in collegeBrian Thomas Jr - rumors have already been circling, if the Jags aren't as good this season or he gets off to a slow start, expect these talks to get seriousJerry Jeudy - why not? Browns rebuildingI was watching a 2027 mock on youtube last night from Hail Mary Sports and we selected WR Omarion Miller from Arizona State.

OL wasn't healthy, they didn't execute well enough, and the QB isn't what he used to be. Mannion could be the brightest offensive mind in NFL history, he can help, but he alone won't make a bad offense good. In one offseason no less.OC was easily the biggest problem. Teams with worse lines and worse QBs played better than this offense.

Players still gotta make the plays and do their job in the field. The idea that if they would’ve had a good OC last year and instead of the offense sucking it would’ve been great with the same exact personnel just isn’t how football works.
