I hate to burst the bubble of people, but he was not the only player unhappy. We don't get 3 stories a year about Jalen Hurts with leaks galore if he was.

Several people who cover the team have reported for well over a year that other players on the team are unhappy as well. Many of them unhappy with the QB. The difference was AJ Brown is the only one who popped off about it on social media.

You must be taking this very hard seeing how much in detail you have been about it all until the Eagles drafted Lemon.

AJ Brown is one of my favorites. One of Howie's best trades ever. Maybe his best.

And the funny thing is people will say he quit because he had some rough games. Maybe he didn't try as hard, maybe he did and just had some mental lapses exacerbated by his head space. No one will ever know what went on inside his head.

But we had our QB actively stop using one of his most important weapons in his legs in 2025, and no one ever hears anyone say the QB quit because he doesn't post to social media and he has cool motivational quotes in press conferences.

I’m surprised New England didn’t try to either restructure his contract or given him an extension. To make it so that they can get some of the money this year, 2027 and be able to potentially move off of him in 2028 if he has declined or became a pain in the butt. I find next offseason with his contract to be really curious. I can’t see him at 30 not asking for a big extension especially if he plays well. If he doesn’t that trade looks worse for New England as he’d be declining and they gave up a valuable 1st in 2028 for diminishing returns.

You just can't quit on your team, regardless. Guy checked out last year and lacked that compete level. The guy acted unprofessional, plain and simple.

The good news. I believe the

black cloud was lifted today for the offense. A happy QB1 will go a long way. Expect an Embiid type response here comparable to when Simmons left town. A chip on his shoulder and becomes the undeniable and unequivocal leader of the team here. Pretty exciting times ahead. MVP type year coming.

Tbh not sure the passing offense could get much worse than it was last year. It was pretty mediocre to bad most of the year. I’d be surprised if it was bad again. But i also don’t think it’ll be what we saw in 2022.
