You are literally just making something up when it comes to Carter and pretending like there is real smoke. You somehow took Howie refusing to trade him in a package for Garrett to be more evidence he won't be back.To be clear, I don't want to trade Carter. I'd like for him to be here another 10 years with added health and maturity. I am concerned that he will not get extended and will not be here for that. I believe in the smoke, you do not.
Monday at 07:09 PM2 days I wouldn’t say it’s smoke but it’s interesting this is the second time Carters name came up in trade talks. Could just be teams asking for the moon but I do wonder if Howie views it as a nonstarter or if the overall price came down he would be willing to include him.

All we see here is Cleveland asked and we said no. If he's not extended before the season starts, I'll start to think it's a possibility, but still very remote.
Monday at 07:13 PM2 days Just so I get the rules - if the Rams win the SB this year, Stafford was carried by a super team that any QB could have won with? And if they don't win, Stafford is trash?

Maybe he was just bs’ing but Parsons was the one that said it was close but he didn’t want to play here if Carter was a part of the deal.

But if Howie wasn't planning to try and extend JC, then he would have put him in this trade package, IMO. The fact he wouldn't tells me everything.

I think we are a SB contender this year. As for a sustainable winner, I no longer care about that as I age. Win now.No doubt. We're in the mix every year. But it's on now. Rams just raised the bar again. And we play these guys too.
Monday at 07:25 PM2 days I believe there are players that Howie considers untouchable unless given a Herschel Walker type trade and I believe Carter, Cooper, Mitchell, and a few others are on that list

Monday at 07:35 PM2 days Carter will get an extension. People had the same worry over Fletcher Cox, especially when he signed other players that offseason first.
Monday at 07:35 PM2 days AJ Brown could have gone down as the GOAT WR with the Eagles. But for a single season - that title will remain with TO. (Without question)That does not take away what this team achieved with AJ.But I heard enough - the interview after winning the Super Bowl when he said that it was basically anti-climatic.Enough said.Enjoy your time in New England.

Monday at 07:43 PM2 days Credit to the Rams for swinging big. MG is a generational player and should in theory make the D side of the ball very good over a season or two. The reality tho, no one know what it will be; sometimes they just don’t work.

Lucky if we get 5.
