All we see here is Cleveland asked and we said no. If he's not extended before the season starts, I'll start to think it's a possibility, but still very remote.

Maybe he was just bs’ing but Parsons was the one that said it was close but he didn’t want to play here if Carter was a part of the deal.

But if Howie wasn't planning to try and extend JC, then he would have put him in this trade package, IMO. The fact he wouldn't tells me everything.

June 1Jun 1 Credit to the Rams for swinging big. MG is a generational player and should in theory make the D side of the ball very good over a season or two. The reality tho, no one know what it will be; sometimes they just don’t work.
