In the tradition of McNabb the dog (see signature), may I present our newest family member. Barkley the Bernedoodle

Since it’s Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month, I wanted to say something that’s been on my mind. Most of us spend a lot of time talking about football, our families, work, hobbies, and whatever else

I wouldn’t say it’s smoke but it’s interesting this is the second time Carters name came up in trade talks. Could just be teams asking for the moon but I do wonder if Howie views it as a nonstarter or if the overall price came down he would be willing to include him.

To be clear, I don't want to trade Carter. I'd like for him to be here another 10 years with added health and maturity. I am concerned that he will not get extended and will not be here for that. I believe in the smoke, you do not.

LMAO, what smoke?

I mean, it was from some troll Packers account on Twitter earlier this offseason claiming we were shopping him. All we see here is Cleveland asked and we said no.

If he's not extended before the season starts, I'll start to think it's a possibility, but still very remote.

Just so I get the rules - if the Rams win the SB this year, Stafford was carried by a super team that any QB could have won with? And if they don't win, Stafford is trash?

I meant the Parsons trade last year. Maybe he was just bs’ing but Parsons was the one that said it was close but he didn’t want to play here if Carter was a part of the deal.

Ah - OK. I don't put much stock in anything Micah says. But if Howie wasn't planning to try and extend JC, then he would have put him in this trade package, IMO. The fact he wouldn't tells me everything.

Agree, price was high, but good for Rams. Nice trade for Browns in terms of compensation.

Don't agree with your Eagles assessment. I think we are a SB contender this year. As for a sustainable winner, I no longer care about that as I age. Win now.

No doubt. We're in the mix every year. But it's on now. Rams just raised the bar again. And we play these guys too.

I believe there are players that Howie considers untouchable unless given a Herschel Walker type trade and I believe Carter, Cooper, Mitchell, and a few others are on that list

It's like in 2010 when the R-words signed Larry Johnson and Willie Parker.

I think they traded for another scrub at QB too......

McNabb ended the earthworm problem at FedEx field.

Verse with Schwartz would have been a good combo but he's got Rutenberg lol

Carter will get an extension.

People had the same worry over Fletcher Cox, especially when he signed other players that offseason first.

AJ Brown could have gone down as the GOAT WR with the Eagles.

But for a single season - that title will remain with TO. (Without question)

That does not take away what this team achieved with AJ.

But I heard enough - the interview after winning the Super Bowl when he said that it was basically anti-climatic.

Enough said.

Enjoy your time in New England.

Getting Verse back for Garrett is not a bad deal for Cleveland.

Just waiting for the newsing me but not newsing me Instagram post.

Credit to the Rams for swinging big. MG is a generational player and should in theory make the D side of the ball very good over a season or two. The reality tho, no one know what it will be; sometimes they just don’t work.

One of the leading Pats reporters

Was Verse an option when the Rams had interest in AJ ?

The guy just rehabbed both shoulders. No way he will hold up for 10 years. Lucky if we get 5.
