Sharp has Eagles as the #2 OL entering 2026. Health permitting I'm assuming. If the OL is healthy this is for sure a playoff team. If not, could definitely miss playoffs.

I think she comes off as more sympathetic especially when compared to Vrabel. It looks like her relationship with Vrabel wasn't some scheme or pattern of behavior. It was an affair. He has as much culpability in it as she does. She lost her career over it. Vrabel has faced no consequences professionally. She has been far more villianized than he has been. Sure, it's distasteful to try to get out of a ticket but I don't think it's unusual or that she went about it in a mean spirited way. It's not like she went down the road of do you know who I am. Despite her faults as a person, she did a good job reporting news to the extent an NFL insider is anything like a reporter.

When you see the escapability. Its unmatched even by what we have today.

The deep balls, those WRs are running under them in stride. Not adjusting their strides to try to stay under them.

The throws on the run. The way he kept his eyes down field and found guys. We dont get that now.

And even in the pocket. Looking off defenders. The shoulder fakes and pump fakes. That level of nuance is not in the game for us currently.

Even in Jalen Hurts best game which has to be the super bowl against the Chiefs that we lost, he was accurate as heck. But the nuances that he lacks... he still wasnt on the level of Wentz QBing in his prime.

This is actually not to knock Hurts this time. Wentz was unbelievably good. We were going to have a truly great QB who would be in discussion for top QB in the league each and every year.

And then Wentz's brain broke when he tore his ACL. He had so little resilliency to go with his talent. My taking looking back at the 2017 season is that I don't think that team wins it with Wentz as the QB. I don't think the team did him any favors with the talent at WR especially in 2020. Maybe his career would have been much different if he wasn't hurt in that 2017 season. I just think that the flaws would have appeared at some point.

The only thing I wonder was how wentz would of been with the talent hurts has now vs what little he had to work with.

Both of them played a role shaping this team and now we just have to hope hurts can keep improving and growing into the franchise QB so we don't have to worry about that

Anyway, Jalen Hurts completed 77.3% of his passes for 10 YPA, 2 TD passes for a 119.7 passer rating to go along with 72 rushing yards and a TD in basically 3 quarters of football against a dynasty defense in the Super Bowl. It was a great performance and better than any single game Wentz had in his career.

He had great WR talent in MN and still was just a guy, unfortunately.

Foles is not so different than a lot of QBs that have some success. He probably would have had a longer career if he had been a first round pick.

At the end of the day, Wentz has played 10 more games than Hurts. He has 6k more passing yards and 40 more passing touchdowns. They're different QBs, one more traditional and one more dual threat. Wentz was a better pure passer, there is literally no argument that exists where Hurts is a better passer than Wentz ever was.

Wentz's pocket presence was phenomenal, and he didn't bail as often as Hurts does. He would climb the pocket, this is one of Hurts' biggest weaknesses and always has been. He has gotten much better at keeping his eyes downfield, but when Hurts leaves the pocket these days the play is basically dead because he's slow as hell and no one knows how to run a scramble drill on this team. When 2017 Wentz was forced out of the pocket there was still a chance to make a play.
