Stadium does look pretty cool. A lot of respect to Buffalo for building an outdoor stadium.

Those uniforms are so terrible

Given his size you would think if they just instead used Lampkin as a FB and developed him in that role that he could be generational as a blocker given how much he is not only able to hold it down but straight up beat guys bigger than him at C and now Guard now in practice. He is certainly more agile, quick and athletic than a lot of fullbacks that I have watched over the years.

He could be another Howie Roseman stroke of genius.

He could be... but so far, he's a nothing move. He did nothing for this defense last year. There's always hope.

I am absolutely shocked he tested positive for PED’s

It might just be traces left over from his dad working their way through his system.

I think if Lane retires after this year, Bell will get the 2027 as a trial run for the starting position. Then in 2028 when we have 2 first rounders they’ll take an OT high if they don’t like what they see.

If we want a first round pick in 2027 it will be someone they think can play OG as well, because that’s where our real weakness is. Dickerson is likely to retire soon and Steen is a free agent, so they could play the rookie at RG if Steen walks with the idea that if Bell flops he can kick outside to RT.

The good thing about the current system is it's not as not as demanding for the OTs in terms of one on one pass protection. I think that's where Bell probably is a player that can be an above average starter. I don't think Howie would forego adding talent at OT. If somehow the Eagles end up with a top 10 pick in 2027, I think they will look hard at OT prospects. Even in the bottom of the first round in 2027, they will be looking at OL with position versatility. Howie just values the position too much to not add depth if possible. I do think it's possible they will also bring Steen back because he can also play OT.

It’s early and maybe I’m way off, but I don’t see many scenarios where Bell isn’t at least an adequate starting level player. Absurd length, good feet, seems to have the smarts/toughness needed. Would think King Dunlap would be a midrange outcome for him.

Seems crazy he was thought of as a late 3rd/4th round prospect.

Not good news for their offense week 1 against our defensive line and defense.

My expectations for the offense week 1 is them scoring anywhere from 0-10 points in the first half but finishing the game with 30+ points.

I want OL versatility. Unless the player is a flat out super star at only the specific position of G or T.

Versatility is important for backups, not important for someone you're looking at drafting in the first to be a starter. If they have it, cool, but that should not be a determining factor for a first round prospect

It's a long season, college draft & free agent season through April. They'll evaluate Bell throughout the year. No one knows how he'll do this year yet. If they feel confident in Bell after the season he could be the guy, but they'll still add another OT at some point for competition & depth.

Right, I think that’s what I was trying to say. 😊

If the player is a superstar G or T, draft said player as high as necessary. If he’s not that superstar player at a specific OL position, don’t draft him high. And hopefully he’s got some versatility.

I’m probably now just confusing my own damn self. 🤪😜

He is in no way going to be handed the job. They will address it like they do other positions they value very highly... by putting a lot of high quality resources into it. Expect OT round 1.

That is your opinion. Others have different opinions. It will be interesting to see how it plays out.

I wonder where Westbrook would have peaked at on the NFL Network Top 100 voted by the players if it existed bac k when he played. Most underrated RB in NFL history possibly but I feel like he had a ton of respect from all other players in the NFL. I feel like he would have been voted top 10 at least one year. He really was the engine of the Eagles offense from 2003 until he hit his wall and left for the 49ers in 2010.

I don’t think the eagles will force anything. Howie has been down that route and learned better. That said, of course they’re going to be looking at OL. We have a serious need over the next couple years.

Way too early to talk specific names, but the guy I think eagles fans should keep an eye on for an early round OL pick is Samson Okunlola from Miami.

He is very inexperienced, had a ton of penalties per snap, and is super raw from a technique perspective… but his upside is tremendous and in the little playing time he’s had, he’s flashed dominance.

His reps were at guard, which might be where he ends up, but I think this year he’s starting at OT. 6’6” 330 pounds with long arms, athleticism and movement skills paired with true explosive power.

I’m guessing he’s a top 50 pick minimum based purely on physical talent and flashes of dominance. If he has a good season as a starter cleaning up the penalties and improving his technique, he might sneak into the second half of the first round.

He’s basically the perfect archetype for my vision of a high OL draft pick in 2027. High upside and the tools to be really good at both OT and OG. Bring him in, stick him at RG, and you have a backup plan of Bell turns out to be a bust.

Probably top 5ish. He was a first team all pro and was clearly the most dynamic offensive player in the NFL at his peak.

Really wish we came out of the 2026 first round with an OT instead of a small slowish slot WR.

I am at a loss as to what Mannion's/Kuper's pass protection system may be that makes it different. Looking at Green Bay's system last year, when they kept five guys in they were average at best and, against the Eagles below average. There's not a lot of fancy stuff you can do with five guys. You can slide your line but as to whether you can help your tackles, well, not unless the defense lets you. How the D covers the guards or attacks gaps dictates what the O Line can do. Sometimes you just have to man up. The Packers did start keeping a TE on and chipping the outside rushers and releasing a RB into the flat but there wasn't much there I saw that differed from what the Eagles have done with everybody other than Patullo. The Packers usually kept six in to block and there's nothing innovative in that. Mailata talked about getting help from the guards but how that's done is a mystery to me.

Corner or even WR could be the rd1 need

I tend to think steen is gone after this yr but lets see how he fits in the new blocking scheme

Like who?

I thought they reached on Bell, so let’s see what he does In the games, but seems to have the goods

Mundt will effectively be the 6th OL, but not sure how mobile he is to trap/wham etc or if mannion even wants that

If Lemon flops, Howie should be banned from drafting WR outside of the top 15.

I think Bell gets plenty of looks this season. Lane surely is going to miss some time.

Management and coaching will know by week 12 if he’s a legit starting RT in the NFL going forward.

Either way, OL has to be top priority going into next offseason unless Greenard looks like a total miss on the edge.
