Can't see how he makes it to us through waivers...

Released, not waived.

Can't believe they lost the backup TE/possible FB. There was a Latu like about him. 👀

Short term can be read two ways and his referencing the McCord trade makes me think a potential trade is in the works.

Or he simply could be saying that they gave away a sixth round asset for free.

Milton > McKee + Dalton

Where is Dom DeLuca at?

We signed Steele to PS

Schefter misspoke. He was waived. He only came into the NFL in 2024

LG, RT, S, WR2. The 11th man on offense, shared between WR3 and TE2 isn’t looking so settled either.

Lane Johnson is a hole? Mukuba is a hole? DeJean and/or Epps/Carter is a hole?

Wicks caught 30 out of 44 targets last year with an 11.1 YPC average. How is that a hole?

You would consider Cooper in the WR3 slot a hole? TE2 is an inline blocking position. Are we deficient in those attributes from our TE2?

As I have said several times before "The Pessimism Force is strong in you”. Yo don’t see the glass as half empty, you see it as 90% empty.

EDIT: I forgot LG where the depth of Kendall and Lampkin behind the Dickerson question mark is depth that other NFL teams would be happy to have. LG is unsettled not a hole.

Is Will Levis really that bad? He cleared waivers; every team passed on him.

I like him but he's got one speed...

The backup QB panic is getting a little out of hand. Both McKee and Dalton are better than 2024 Kenny Pickett and we weren’t saying wild stuff back then like "maybe Josh freaking Johnson would be better”

Agree to disagree.

Was RT a hole last year? How is a WR2 that mixes bad hands, poor speed, and minimal productivity (332 yards you gave me the stats) NOT a hole?

You are making assumptions that players no teams attribute any value to outside of Philly can be meaningful non problematic starters here.

If TE2 was a pure in line blocker then they’d be an OL. Just as receiving from a TE isn’t that valuable if they can’t be at least a viable blocker, blocking from a TE isn’t that viable if they can’t command some level of coverage should they actually run a route. And a TE that is as effective receiving as Stowers is blocking doesn’t exactly fit that bill.

This roster simply isn’t as talented as what we normally see. You can insult me or call me negative all you want. It just isn’t.

I refuse to believe they can get anything for Dalton until I actually see it. That means McKee is the guy getting traded which means we are stuck with Dalton as #2. I just don't see how Howie can look at this situation and believe Dalton should be #2. I will try and be optimistic and believe Dalton will be the one gone.

Speculation. The truth is that we don’t know WTF is going to happen.

Maybe a $ thing, where you don’t want to pickup the contract (although I imagine TEN is eating most of it).

A few years ago some were interested in Amagadjie so hopefully he is the next project OT that actually works out. Basically replaced our other project OT that got snagged.

That was how I looked at it as well.

This the guy that declared there aren't 32 QBs better than me

Better than Milton? Doubt it

I’d put in a claim for Milton. 1.075mm this year and 1.19mm next year is great value.

Happy Steele made it to the practice squad. Disappointed Lawson did not.

RT last year was an injured Lane and Fred and then nothing. RT this year is a healthy Lane and Bell and then Fred. People forget how short the offseason was last year. Many Eagles were not fully recovered from 2024 when TC and the regular season began.

You insist on looking at things from the worst case scenario.

Wicks at. WR2 made the most of the times he was targeted. How many WR3s in the NFL gained more than 332 yards. How does a 68% catch rate equate to bad hands. Again, how many WR 3s in the NFL had a 68% catch rate or 11.1 YPC? As a point of comparison Julian Edelman had a 66% catch rate and 11.0 YPC.

All positions have primary and secondary responsibilities. Catching passes is not the primary responsibility of TE2. You are a victim of the age old question "Does the exception make the rule?”

Regarding the point you are making in your third paragraph, for every one of your pessimistic examples is a Zack Baun example. There is no reason to prematurely ejaculate.

It would be funny to see 5 QBs on the roster even if just for a minute.

So is Wicks WR2 or WR3?

You realize you are comparing an unhealthy December Lane in 2025 to a "healthy" August Lane in 2026.

This roster is not as settled as you say it is. You treat players like Wicks and Mundt as if they are good starters and you assume that Lane is just going to be Lane.

Can’t remember where I heard it, but I remember reading that he’s not exactly a great locker room guy… not sure how reliable… But I do remember that
