If you look at his entire body of work throughout his pro career, 2020 was really an outlier.  The bigger concern coming into last season was injuries.

That's what I've been saying too.  Many people have argued that 2017 was instead, but his overall performance in 2018 and 2019 was not nearly as bad as 2020. Not even close. I think Indy played their cards well in the trade and acquired a guy that will easily rebound from an off year. I think he'll be helped by the new setting and a fan base that at worst will be cautiously optimistic about his future. If he stays healthy, I'm confident we'll be getting that late 1st rd pick.

Same here, I've never purchased anything other than a t-shirt, I just can't get into wearing someone else name on my back, I think it's kinda dorky.

Here I thought I was only one that felt this way. The only Eagles stuff I have was acquired for free at the training camps I went to. I was going to buy a SB hat but I was gifted the one I have. In fairness I don't like wearing logos in general. I'll occasionally buy and sometimes wear a band's tour shirt. But I'm generally not paying to be a walking billboard.

I knew my wife for many years before we dated and lived together. She had no idea how big of an Eagles fan I was and how closely I followed them. She thought it was something new I got into after we got together. I knew she wasn't a football fan so I never felt to involve her with it until we lived together and she had no choice. Now she is not only a casual Eagles fan but she's become a bigger Phillies fan then I ever was. She got me a pair of Phillies underwear for Christmas. She calls them my "pair of Brice Harper's". I will wear them for her 🙂

I need to stop buying jerseys for players that don’t stick around with the team. DJax, McCoy, and Wentz.

Time for a Dawkins jersey. Can’t fail at that.

my Foles jersey is aging quite well

I wore them when I was a kid. Now if i did get one it would be a throwback to put in a frame and hang in the man cave or something.

It’s pretty comical that some people have already completely written off Hurts.  He could be the guy ... he may not be.  No one knows.    Need more time to get a more thorough evaluation to have a better idea.

Im assuming you are agree with me because that is essentially what i said

Nice try at creating a narrative about his leadership and competitiveness...which you have no idea if he has or not...and even if he does possess those, a low completion percentage and fumbles quickly offset it.  Thanks for playing.

lmao look at this try-hard.

I have no idea about about Hurts competitiveness and leadership? His time at Alabama displays this to the highest level. Both of these are well documented.

So 4 games already offsets his leadership and competitiveness...You are an absolute joker

Dawkins didn't stick around with the team either. Djax and McCoy will always be some of the best players ever for the Eagles at their positions.

Not by choice...Banner simply didn't want him and it tore him up.  I never thought I'd see another team's player cheered in Philly like that but I was proven wrong happily.

It was definitely a business decision. Guy had some neck issues and was questionable at best. It definitely becomes harder in decision making when emotions get involved. Like the old saying, it's better to cut ties with a player a year early than a year too late. I think Howie and the front office have let that get the best of them at times lately. Ex. Peters, Jackson, Alshon..

Please. Are we still refusing to acknowledge that Carson was a big issue? All these reports aren’t made up. If it was a one off thing, sure, but when you have so many rumblings about Wentz not being easy to deal with, lacking leadership, not being popular in the locker room, not taking to coaching, etc there has to be some truth to it.

McNabb? Do you know his profile name on here?

What got Pederson fired was his inability to replace the original staff he mostly lucked into.  Press Taylor sucked, and he refused to move on from him.  He also chafed at LOWIE telling him who to hire/fire within his own staff.  He came the 2nd meeting, after being given time to "reassess" this years staff with the exact same names.  Doug w-a-n-t-e-d to get fired.

Why would he "want" to get fired?  I mean I get that he was at odds with Howie and Wentz, but I don't think getting fired looks good on a coach's resume.

By all reports, Doug went into the 2nd meeting with Lurie not changing much of anything from his first meeting, in which Lurie told him his picks for coaches weren’t good enough. Apparently Pederson didn’t give a crap and wanted some time off and got it.

Watch the Ginger Jesus totally crash in Indianapolis.

Didn't want to be there anymore, didn't want to quit.  At odds with management over the QB situation & what he perceived as their meddling in things outside their sphere.  He was tired of Roseman & Lurie and thought the Lombardi should have brought him more respect from Tweedle's Dee & Dumb.

Now that it's official and Wentz posted a goodbye we're not really seeing teammates say anything. Former teammates Chris Long and Torrey Smith posted about it.

Just remember all you Wentzamaniacs to say your prayers, eat your vitamins, and to get yourself outta town when the going gets tough brother!

Sanders posted about it on his Instagram.

What's funny is that K'von Wallace, however it's spelled, liked the tweet about Wentz officially being traded. What the hell could Carson have done to him? Considering all the covid restrictions they probably barely spoke.

Probably friends with Hurts considering they were from the same draft class

Please- yourself. The media has so many of you buying into leaked lies that it amazes me. There are some smart people on this forum, but also way too many who bought the lies hook, line and sinker. I respect the people who see through this garbage. Hang in there, they are going to tell you there is life on Mars very soon, and you can run with that, too. 🤣
