So Devonta is cooked? Ya i don’t buy that at 29 when he looks good when he was healthy. No offense a lot of NFL teams are analytically driven. So if the analytics are saying, he’s like a top five running back when he’s healthy and playing then I don’t think he’s cooked. he had an injury and the eagles were stupid in how they brought him back and he shouldn’t have been playing

We'll just agree to disagree

I’ve reached my limit for competently played football, had to turn it off at half time.

Watching football around the league, it puts into perspective how bad the eagles offense has really been the last two years. the Jets suck. But you watch them against the Raiders this week. They looked at least competent. Like the Cardinals are not a good football team. But at least they give you some sort of excitement when you watch them on offense. The Eagles every time I watch them look like they’re playing entirely different sport.

Sucks not having real football to watch and root for the rest of the way.

Are you autistic, or just really bad at debate? Legitimate question.

You're not getting me to answer in the exact format you want. I'm not an arrogant a-hole who pretends to have all the information when we clearly don't. That "garbage" is reality. Deal with it.

Name calling isn’t going to answer the question.

You didn’t answer it nor can you. I’ll leave you alone now, you did what I said you’d do, all talk, no substance. You’re a fraud.

You know exactly what. Deal with it.

This is why I’ll never listen to players quotes during training camp. All offseason was Lane saying how easy this blocking scheme would be. He may be correct though if he meant he would have two other guys help block his assignment

They were all lying during the offseason

We haven't really seen what they were doing in the offseason

It's what they thought would happen but offseason /= regular season

Mailata was another one raving about the new scheme but he seems to have perfected BS

Was James having this much fun in LA?

Nope.

You can normally tell a few games into the season whether LeBron thinks the team he’s on can actually win anything. 😆

So two things...

First of all, easy and effective aren't the same thing. Second of all, Mailata has the caveat of only being in one scheme his entire career, so he probably doesn't have a lot of perspective on what does/doesn't work from a variety perspective.

Everyone is optimistic during camp. What else did you expect them to say?

Tbh probably would take the bears in the nfc to get to the Super Bowl. The addition of Simmons really helps elevate their defense. Offensively they are able to score on good defenses. I think niners health catches up to them. Imo when healthy they are best team in the nfc north.

Also, an issue Seattle has at times is just going away from JSN for way too long of a period of time. The fact that he has zero targets in the second half kind of speaks to that. that’s when their offense bogs down and struggles this year. The weapons outside of him aren’t good enough to do that. Other is Sam Darnold is nowhere near as good as last year or even 2024.

Darnold back down to earth from last season he’s not bad by any means but he’s really just not that good

The vibes on this team. 😅

Been saying for awhile the NFC looks like its between the Bears and 49ers.

Caleb Williams can make special plays out of nothing and they can run the ball. If the 9ers can be healthy at the end of the year with Kittle, Mike Evans, CMC all playing they definitely have a good shot to get to the SB.

Swift went through 2023 with Hurts stealing all his TDs and said never again.

What i miss more than anything else was having a dominant O-line.

Even if the passing game was struggling you could depend on them to open things up for the run game.

I still think the wild card in all this is the Rams. Haven’t looked good all year but managed to get themselves to 4-4. And a game back of last wild card spot. Frankly they need to get really hot cause Seattle and them might be vying for the last wild card spot. I tend to think Minnesota drops out and leaves one extra spot open for rams and Seahawks. I think lions, packers and bears will all make the playoffs.

I can't remember him looking so happy even in Miami. Just seems to be enjoying it out there with them.

Frankly, I think he realizes how close he is to the end. He probably has two maybe three years left. So he’s enjoying the time that he has left and appreciating everything and the journey to the end. Furthermore this team he doesn’t have to be the guy. He can just be the glue guy that can take some pressure off maxey at times. Can take some pressure off Brown at times. Take some pressure off embiid at times. He can build them up and make them better players. But he doesn’t have to be the guy every night because he has so much talent around him. He had to carry that burden for almost his entire career. Now that he doesn’t necessarily have to be, I think he is much freer and less pressure on him having to be great every night.

I mean thats a bit harsh.

Dickerson has reach his predicted inevitable end. We should be surprised he lasted this long. There's a reason he dropped to the 2nd round, he had devastating injuries in college.

It was really only a matter of time before he broke down. We saw it end of 2024, 2025 was a disaster and this year hasn't been much better.

Ill always be grateful for him, he was a big part of the superbowl season and won.

He looks done and I wish him nothing but good whatever happens, I cant see anyone trading anything significant for him nor howie trading him as his dead cap hit is pretty big.

On the bright-ish side he looked better last night then he has all year and last year for whatever that's worth...

To be fair I did say thanks for the SBlol

I appreciate what he did, but the past two years he's been a liability and i blame the coaching staff for letting him play through it because he might have recovered better had they IR'ed him early last season. Same thing for Jurgens.

Siriannis press conferences are unbearable. He’s so predictable and says the exact same thing each week. He doesn’t know how to fix it which is obvious. Saying he/we have to be better is not fooling anyone because we know that they simply can’t do it. If they could it would have been done by now.

Terrible coaching hire have exposed him for the fraud he really is.
