EMB Blog: 2026 Regular Season (Part 1)

My hot takes from the game. Hot takes, I understand, but I can’t change what I see:

  1. The 2026 eagles are of the 2023 and 2025 lineage, not 2022 or 2024.

  2. The OL will be bad all year. RIP Barkley and running game. It’s not going to be improved.

  3. Jalen Hurts is clutch and a winner, but he’s not a good passer and not a good fit for the offense. We are going to learn that very slowly.

  4. The offense is very low on talent.

  5. Lemon is a gadget player until proven otherwise (and until utilized otherwise). Unfair to call him a bust but he’s absolutely on the fast track to becoming one.

Man, that is a lot of negativity. Guess you can work on your needlepoint skills instead of watching this dreck lol

Whomever made the decision to go for it on that play should be fired.

The parallel between RGIII and Daniels' careers so far is insane

Honestly, it seemed worse than that

The commanders need to stick with the run game. Cause Dallas has no real answer for it. And you’re not down enough to just abandon it altogether. Score here and get a stop right back in the game

The offense isn't low talent. They have good skill players at RB and WR. The issue is they played half a game without a TE and one guard position is below average and pulling the OL down while the other is adequate. They knew Cam and Dickerson were issue and they didn't add anyone solid at the position.

Howie got too cute there the same at safety. Just like last year 5 million would have fixed the issue.

Lemon is fine. He plays hard and gets open but they put him in bad spots or don't hit him when he is open.

I save my negativity for Phillies.

Man, this NFL is truly crazy, New Orleans beating Baltimore, the Vikings beating the Bears (and the bears scoring only 3 points after scoring like 100 last week, aka pulling a Phillies), Cincinnati beating Houston and Cleveland..,Cleveland beating Tampa?? This truly is a week to week league.

I’m not a big gambler… But I do like some small action on some prop bets or crazy lines…for entertainment. There is no better week, in my opinion, than week two. Week one is always the epitome of overreaction.

Don't forget number 6.

Eagles offense misses that Toxic Diva!

Wow what a play call. Better pass and it works.

Commanders unraveling

Marita is n idiot why didn’t he just get the 2 yards

Dean keeps making plays for the Raiders. Another FF that puts them in the redzone

They have a really good defense that will keep them in the game

Nakobe Dean forces potentially gsme winning FF on a Chargers rush.

JSN with 3 tds.

Dean >>>>>>>Jihad

Nakobe has been killing it for the Raiders.

Very bad things are coming for this team after the Bears game

Very happy for Nakobe

Offense was better when they got Mannion and subtracted AJ & now LD. CJ should be benched next. That will resolve itself as he may just be compromised and embarassed to be IR'd later. Pending. Got plenty of time to see incremental progress, which I expect. Hurts looks great so far is the key takeaway, which many doubted in here with Mannion style offense. Averaging 24 points a game with a lot of chaos going on with OL. Yes. Gotta survive TE right now.
