I’ll be turning 60 years old in just over a month and my sister sent a family text a few days ago asking if anyone knew if our childhood home was still standing. I’ve thought about going back to see i

I’ve always thought if you could find a super well rounded TE and a super well rounded slot that you could run really control the matchup game on offense. Easier said than done to find those guys, but still…

Offense was better when they got Mannion and subtracted AJ & now LD. CJ should be benched next. That will resolve itself as he may just be compromised and embarassed to be IR'd later. Pending. Got plenty of time to see incremental progress, which I expect. Hurts looks great so far is the key takeaway, which many doubted in here with Mannion style offense. Averaging 24 points a game with a lot of chaos going on with OL. Yes. Gotta survive TE right now.

I couldn't agree more. I want to see Kendall at LG and Lampkin at C. We need to find out of these guys are players. Dickerson and Jurgens are done.

Two weeks and the TE picture will change. Calcaterra will be activated. Jenkins will return to the PS.

I dont know what the hold up is. It's a simple move. Go get Ertz!!! When Goedert goes down you literally have no TE that's a threat to catch a pass. That's unacceptable.

The line for next week is down to Chicago -1.5.

We are now 4.5 point favorites on DraftKings.

Depending on how bad Goedert‘s injury is, if he’s out for a while or if it is season ending, I could see them making a trade at the deadline. At least bring in Ertz if it’s prolonged til the deadline. There’s gonna be a couple teams where I think you could possibly see them make a deal.

That was an excellent pass block pick up by Shipley.

Over the two 3rd periods we've played we have 54 net yards and 2 first downs.

31 yards came on one play (Smith catch against WAS).

Five 3-and-outs over eight possessions.

I didn’t see you posted this. And I posted it below. But that was excellent pass protection by Shipley. There was a time where we had backs that were just awful at it.

We had more turnovers and fewer explosive plays, yet still won.

So if Mannion is a dude, and Hurts keeps ascending, and the defense remembers how to tackle…could this be some Eagles even year magic?

The Eagles defense is eventually gonna get turnovers. usually come in bunches. So there’s gotta be a stretch coming up where we just get a boatload of them.

Gush!

Should have kept Gushinken

But remember, both the offense and the defense are equally responsible! 🤡

Honestly was a really good catch by wicks on that first pass

Needed to keep Mac McPherson.

Pretty sure he’s a dude. But I’ve been wrong before.

I get that he is an excellent blocker. He's also one dimensional. Just like Stowers, who happens to be on IR because he's not ready to help the team. I don't like one dimensional tight ends. It's a telegraphed assignment and matchup. I don't think he, or any other TE, blocks well enough to be a complete non-factor outside of that responsibility. Anyone who does I call an offensive tackle.

He’s a good blocker. He shouldn’t be anymore than our TE3. He stepped out of bounds for no reason on one pass route. He had a penalty today too.

He is what he is, and that’s not good enough to be the top backup behind an aging TE who seems to be often nicked up.
