They had long drives, and even overcame 3rd and long, or 2nd and real long situations.Immense improvement from the offense from week 1 to week 2.Hurts crapped the bed for nearly the entirety of the 2nd half BUT for the final drive to win the game.If he can provide some damn consistency, the offense can be very dangerous next week.It does appear that Mannion is beginning to pull out a new level of Hurts' play and his offense is going to be successful. Hopefully by week 6, 7, 8... this will be a juggernaut.Boy, do you suck and at being proven wrong, as in wrong. As in wrong. You’re 0 for 2 so far this year.

September 21Sep 21 Get Becton in here asap along with a scrip for Ozempic!Get Ertz in here also! Thanks for your attention to this matter!!!

Just like Stowers, who happens to be on IR because he's not ready to help the team. I don't like one dimensional tight ends. It's a telegraphed assignment and matchup. I don't think he, or any other TE, blocks well enough to be a complete non-factor outside of that responsibility. Anyone who does I call an offensive tackle.

He also had a bunch of drama off the field last year with the Chargers. He had like a mistress issue and then he had some other stuff. He also just didn’t play well. There was a reason why the chargers cut him after one year.Seemed like he had a really good rapport with his OL teammates when he was here. I dont know about the mistress or any of his other issues but dudes that big with feet don't grow on trees. Roll the dice. Whats the worst that could happen?? He gets cut or has another mistress baby?

Dude has put in the work and really molded himself into a quality NFL WR. Would like to see him get more snaps/targets. He has earned themHis tackle on STs today was great too.

I know PFF isn’t the end all, be all but he was awful. He also the worst graded run blocker out of 82 guards last year. The other thing is, you’re not running the same scheme he had success with. So basically every other point of his career he’s not been successful. So you don’t have that offensive line coach and you’re running an entirely different scheme than what he was successful with here.
September 21Sep 21 Devonta Smith has got to be the best toe tap sideline receiver in the NFL and probably deserves some comparison to guys like Chris Carter.

Because he only plays good on one team lolHe also worked with one of the best offensive line coaches in the history of the NFL in a scheme we don’t run anymore.Furthermore, he was often injured/durability concerns before coming here. That was really his bigger issue that he couldn’t consistently stay healthy til his last year with the jets. Last year he was the worst run blocking guard in the league according to PFF. Overall a 35.7 grade. So he wasn’t just bad he was awful. There’s a reason why nobody signed him. So not only was he bad but has off the field issuesThis isn’t don’t bring him in. This is I would put him on the practice squad, and see what he looks like. However, I think it’s a stretch that people believe he’s just gonna look like 2024 or that he will just be the solution because he played here before and he was good that year. That’s called an outlier to what his career has shown.

Which is what he’s doing pretty darn well from what we’ve observed. He got 3 targets, 2 catches today…so he was a bit of a factor in the pass game. A game where the ball was spread around quite a bit.
