I think I would take the ball first with these OT rules. Depends on the team I have, but I don't think I would give the ball away with just 10 minutes on the clock. It just about guarantees you only one possession.

This reminds me, I didn't like the decision to accept the penalty on 2nd & 23 or whatever it was. Hated it.

It honestly depends on how your team is structured. Because if they scored a touchdown and kick the extra point then you get the ball back knowing you have scored a touchdown. if you scored the touchdown, you could go for two and win the game so you don’t need a second possession. I think if you’re an offensive team you want the ball. But if you’re a defensive team, you believe you could stop them and give your offense good field position so that they can win it with their only possession.
