That's a weird clip to post with that tweet considering. Hurts going in to the tent had nothing to do with Nick.

That sheet four roses is clouding your brain

Not yet, still too warm for bourbon right now down here.

Here's a thoughts by position group after camp, preseason and 3 weeks:

QB: Well, nothing has locked in Jalen as QB1 more than seeing QB2/3 play. But beyond having 2 terrible backups (McKee's regression remains baffling), and even after that crap fest last night, I think I'd still say overall Hurts has been better than I expected in a new offense. No running game the 1st 2 weeks at all and he found a way to do enough. It's clearly not sustainable and needs to get a lot better, but there's some hope there.

RB: Barkley still has juice if we can block for him, but, his blitz pickup has been noticeably worse. The give Tank more touches optimism seems unfounded - the fumble and somehow his blitz pickup is worse. Shipley has been a positive surprise to a degree as a 3rd down back and the best blocker of the bunch.

WR: As I said earlier, this group is the biggest upside surprise. The faith in Smitty being WR1 is being rewarded so far, and Wicks has been an excellent WR2 with no drops I remember (not calling that low throw last night a drop). And Lemon seems to get open when they don't run gadget plays and screens.

OL: Now the fun begins...Jurgens just can't pass block anymore. His run blocking is OK, but he can't pass block or pick up blitzers. Thuney made an amazing block coming across on a blitzing Woolen last night...no world where Jurgens can do that. I think you have to go to Lampkin. Kendall has looked the part, and Lane is not at his peak but still good. Jordan seemed better last night, and Steen is OK (bad penalty though). Really hope if they can solve LG that it will stabilize.

TE: I have really nothing to add. Nothing of value on the roster here with DG hurt.

DT: Carter and Davis do get doubled a ton, and apparently holding Carter is legal, but need more from them. Ojomo was good weeks 1-2, not as much last night. Carter is good for 2-3 splash plays a game, but the consistency isn't there.

Edge: Very disappointing, especially given the reports about Hunt coming out of TC and joint practices. Greenard looked OK last night for his 1st game action, and Hunt/Smith are best described as "adequate." Maybe they improve if the DTs improve.

LB: Campbell...man, please learn faster. Baun was great week 1, less so last 2 games. But a lot of that may be covering for Campbell. No way we could pay Nakobe, and I'm OK with patience for Campbell since he's still new to the position, but...someone made an Ernie Sims comp, and it rang true. Super athlete, just no insticts.

CB: Q has been the best player on the team, or at least on defense. Woolen has lived up to expectations and then some - thought the penalties last night were ticky tack. Coop...I hope it's an injury and not a decline for other reasons. But they would be better except...

S: WOOF. Just woof. Epps is unplayable - can't cover, can't tackle. Mukuba...again, think you need to have some patience. But tough on the CBs (especially Coop) if you don't trust safeties. Hard for Vic to have the CBs challenge WRs if he doesn't trust the safeties over the top.

ST: Elliott can't be an issue if we never score...he's been good, as has Mann.

That's always been my opinion of Epps.

I feel bad for Sydney Brown; he and Chase Brown had commercials in Canada for a pain reliever -- the last commercial I saw it was only Chase Brown lol

Well, yeah. The pain has been relieved.

Howie believing someone is giving anything for him is funny. That said neither McKee nor Dalton is saving the offense if hurts is out (really i guess if we play like we have second halves everyone is lol). I much rather have the roster spot with Dalton and if hurts goes down then use McKee. Rather try to build up some value when he goes to FA. Maybe someone sees something and we can get a comp pick for him.

My counter is, they have won two Super Bowls when they’ve drafted a ginger

Both are sheet options if QB1 goes down. Might as well tank at that point

To the offensive line guys in the blog, I know you want consistency with the oline and the same guys working together but we obviously need change while it’s still early and they have time to get it together. I thinking Jurgens and Steen suck and kill a lot of our drives. Whether it worked or not I think I would have Mailata, Kendall, Lampkin, Bell, and Johnson as my starters. Slide Kendall back to LG, Lampkin at C, and Bell at RG. Go with the young guys and try to get that run game back going and move some people

Is Cole Payton a ginger?

The man is 82, might not have a lot more chances. We get to meet and hang with Kelce before kickoff and meet Lurie and go on the field at halftime.

Be careful with Lurie. He's so poor he might be asking if you can spare any change

It’s nit-picking with Quinyon, but the 4th down PBU should have been six the other way. He had another PBU on a late out thrown by Keenum too. Those absolutely have to be housed. His aversion to INTs is the only frustrating part of his game, but he’s obviously the least of their concerns and an elite player.

I did. Someone posted he is being cut, then 2 people said what he would be remembered for. Then you compared him to Smitty in a context of a "hate be negative but" post that attempted to make him look better than Smitty. Why do that.
