Threw 2 INTS with a full complement and should have thrown more if we knew how to catch. EOD, a QB needs playmakers to win. We were without our Top 3 and Lane, who when he is out we lose a lot. The rookie gave up a ton of pressures that Lane just doesn't do. Can't play QB running for your life. Saw that with Mahomes in 2 different Superbowls...looked like a rookie in both affairs.Man the excuses made for Hurts is crazy. Dude had AJ, smitty, Dallas, Saquon, etc. Played very similar, against the bills last year with all those studs. We’ve had more bad games than good and seem to blame everyone but the QB. You’re delusional

I wouldn't be passing that up for some loyalty to a corporate job.Kinda disgusting to try to attack Lane over this. The Eagles knew what they were getting into talking him into coming back this season. They knew this was on the table to happen.Do we know they’re on their deathbed? I feel like that would have been more clearly stated.
October 6Oct 6 Yeah, this season feels like we’re on the verge of being like 2020 where everything just goes in the ****. So at least if they’re gonna be in the ****, our draft pick will be really nice next year. Frankly, if we get to the trade deadline and we are not good, I think they should probably consider trading some guys who long-term aren’t gonna be here. Someone like Ojomo if it’s like a good pick. The compensatory pic you’re gonna get is not for a year from now. So hypothetically if somebody offered you a third in 2027 you should probably do it. Maybe also woolen

Look forward to all the excuses this season!
October 6Oct 6 - All time great RT- Got suspended twice for PEDs- Two- time Super Bowl champion - Ran his mouth about the patriots not being fun- Injury prone last 5 years or so of his career- Retired midseason What a ride

I'd take a 3rd this year in a strong draft vs waiting for the comp. They need to get a jump on things.
October 6Oct 6 In the life comes at you fast department, the Eagles have one starting offensive lineman that’s left from the 2024 Super Bowl champion team for Sundays game.

They can't even figure out what scheme they are running since last year. It's a hodge podge of nothingness and total confusion. That comes from the top. Lot of issues. Not just one. Dysfunctional is a good way to put it. An average QB doesn't outshine a goat in 2 Superbowls and as of now is on the border of a hall of fame career. October 6Oct 6 Don't blame him one bit especially after seeing how god awful this offense is. Hope he gets the help he needs and his parents are ok.
October 6Oct 6 Everyone is injured…. Coaching is poor… lane Johnson retiring midseason…. OUR PETS HEADS ARE FALLING OFF!!!!

He's telling you he can't do it. You just don't want to accept that he can't do it.He gave it his best shot and couldn't continue. You have no idea what he's going through so just ignorantly saying "Yes, you can do it" is what is BS.There is a price to making 23 million a year paid for by fans like us. As a fan I have a right to be upset and say it's a dick move. Your message sounds like we are talking about a little kid about to get a participation trophy. He is a grown ass man regardless of what he is going through. He made a commitment and as a man you honor it or you don't come back. If he had done this in the summer it's OK that sucks wish him well. Middle of the year it's BS to abandon the fans and his team like that. Is he still the best ever? Yeah. Will I personally hate him after this? No, but it screws their season looking at their record with him vs without so yeah I have a right to be pissed off.
October 6Oct 6 Feels like the end of the Sirianni era for some reason. (I get Lane has nothing to do with Nick)

He said he had done due diligence on insurance policies and presented the information to three different owners for whom he worked, including one who was specifically interested after noticing Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie buying a lot of insurance. But all three thought the premiums were too highTHE EAGLES MUST lead the league in this advanced stat -- Using insurance addendums as a guide, the club has insurance policies on at least 16 players for 2024. Philadelphia's portfolio is the stuff of legend among salary cap staff and those in the insurance business because of the sheer number of policies it buys, and the range of contract values insured. An industry source said the majority of teams set a threshold to determine the size of the contract they'll insure, like $40 million guaranteed, and then buy insurance on any contract over that number. That is not what the Eagles do.They've got the usual high rollers. Quarterback Jalen Hurts' contract is insured for $63.75 million for 2024 (out of the $110 million guaranteed in his deal), and receiver A.J. Brown's contract is insured for $29.8 million for 2024 (out of the $51 million guaranteed in his deal). But they also insure three players on rookie contracts for small sums between $750,000 and $2.5 million for 2024, one of whom, center Cam Jurgens, has $3.9 million in guaranteed money."I have no clue what the background is on why they do what they do," said another insurance industry source familiar with the Eagles' insurance-buying habits. He laughed, "I have no clue."Through an Eagles spokesperson, executive vice president and general manager Howie Roseman said he appreciated the interest in his strategy but declined to comment. One executive for another club described Philadelphia's tendencies as spreading risk around by insuring a variety of players for a range of amounts. The amount a club insures a contract for has to be written into the player's contract in order for the club to qualify for cap relief, so the Eagles' portfolio is there for all the league to track.Only Cam, Hurts, and AJ were publicly mentioned in 2024But it says at least 16 players in 2024 were insured
