October 7Oct 7 So it's Mailata Lampkin Kendall Steen Bell ?Gonna be interesting to see it play out, growing pains seem inevitable.

Try Morris?Morris unless Fred Johnson is healthy.I think Johnson has probably aged out at OT, but could fill in at LG.Though they're getting awfully thin.Have to think if Eagles don't make a run that Howie writes off 2027, trades players for picks, eats a lot of dead money and starts the next rebuild in 2028 when he has (2) 1st, (2) 2nds and other extra picks.Drafts may be stronger next few years as tranfer portal levels out (and more talented players get a chance to start, so deeper talent pool). Thing with Howie is he keeps his options open, so wouldn't suprise me if he flips that 5th for a veteran backup OL.
October 7Oct 7 The Jurgens trade is the first time an interior OL has been traded for a 2nd rounder or better since 2011.Howie.

October 7Oct 7 I think we will see the most effective run blocking Sunday that we have seen all year. It will have people calling for more Shipley going forward.

Trading an OL concedes protection for your franchise QB. That’s why offensive linemen dont usually move midseason and the Ravens probably knew they had to pay a premium for it.

He was unplayable at Guard and Kendall has been outplaying him as Center. Not everything requires the most pessimistic view.

They didn't let AJ turn into another Alshon. Put Dickerson on IR quickly. Got value out of Jurgens when he showed he's clearly not a fit at OG. Better than letting it simmer and kicking the can at least.

As well as telling your team and fans you’re not in it to win it. We got better today

This was a no brainer. This ran its course. Starting from last season. Moving on with more athletic and talented young players at this point that fit the scheme. This line was absolutely broken and a big cluster F. We start anew now and look for progress.

Now I don't think it's a golden rule because apparently they turned down trades for McKee the last couple years. There's no concrete reporting on what they turned down, I've heard some writers speculate a 3rd rounder. So there may be exceptions. So I think how Howie views their chances this season factors into that as well. I don't think they've totally given up on this season, but I also think Howie is probably starting to get "Yeah this could be one of those years" vibes. And also they probably view Kendall is just as good, if not better right now.If the next 4 games go like I think they're going to then I do think they'll be deadline sellers. And they'd be smart to do so, especially guys who definitely wouldn't be back. I think you could get quite a bit for Woolen and Ojomo.

He still might be in 2028 but it was a wasted year for him sitting behind Moore. Talented kidFrom what I read he wanted to be a backup behind Moore this year then be the starter in 2027. He probably could have went elsewhere and played right away but Oregon has really good offensive weapons and get top recruits just about every year. Was he any good at Nebraska? I dont really remember him being anything special outside of looking and playing like Mahomes.

Or tried to. He does make some bad ones. But he course corrects well and usually figures things out. And knowing when to pull the plug on older players is something he's getting better at. Sometimes you have to eat cap and cut guys you drafted or traded for (I.e. Dalton) etc. But on the whole this is All- Star GM'ing. Showing no panic in his game. And stellar decisiveness. It gives you faith that the Eagles will right the ship.

He may fit this offensive scheme better than either Cam or Landon. From all the positive things the coaches and teammates have said about Bell, he may be the ideal guy to influence Morris, sort of a Davis/Carter situation.
