Got value out of Jurgens when he showed he's clearly not a fit at OG. Better than letting it simmer and kicking the can at least. For sure, incredible value for a guy who's looked like dogshit recently. Just seems like we're about to find our depth might not be all it was cracked up to be. Still early worth it considering we fleeced them for a 2nd rd pick in '28.
October 7Oct 7 Translation: NFL realizes what chumps they were for the recent discipline and NFLPA reminded them of such. Goodell would have locked like a complete 🫏 if he had upheld any discipline on challenge.

October 7Oct 7 Good trade. I don’t think it signals tanking for the year, but I still think that will be the fate this year anyway. It will be good (and a bit refreshing) to see these young guys play, although I’m probably not as optimistic about them as most. They’re all mid-late picks, and maybe even undrafted? So, none of this changes the fact that the team hasn’t invested enough meaningful resources in the OL.We may get fortunate and have 1 or 2 of them show well (Kendall looks like he can be a good center), but this is the least talented OL this team has fielded in some time.Speaking of center….I have a feeling that both Lampkin and Kendall are best at center. I don’t see either guy being great at guard.

Seems like a ton of turnover going on while trying to gel. I do think that within the season, inserting Carter at safety, and possibly Moore, Trotter over Campbell and getting Baun back, the youth movement on the OL, as well as hopefully going Goedert/Ertz as the top 2 TEs is a lot of potential improvement. Its almost like we would have a complete offseason of roster changeover and additions/improvements to the team. Plus, theyll still get to add Smith and Barkley back soon as well.It looks ugly. And theyve been so bad its hard to think theyll turn it around. But on paper, they have a chance to really turn it around.

We'll see.I see youre taking it as that the offense is beginning to get in sync.I thought his comment was about the team in general.Even so, the offense has a ton of players missing from the lineup so I dont know how they can possibly be gelling. Id love to know what he actually means.
October 7Oct 7 I think what Hurts is alluding to is they can start to gel because the OL can finally settle in, as there were 2 anchors that were just holding it back. Of course he won't say that. He feels confident with what they got and who is coming back with Goedert and Devanta soon enough. He's confident in Cooper for now and can make that work in his absence. In addition, Lemon is coming around after missing training camp and gaining trust there. Also, they have a shot now in the running game. They've shown glimpses even with Jurgens. That gets upped now with Man Low Lampkin pancakes coming and Bell pummeling peeps. If Morris plays this week (if Kendall out) he will add to that thumping element.
