I’d promise to do better, but that’s not who I am.

That's ok. LMGM tries to be funny but that's not who he is. You can both work on it.

Curious to see who Vic is more pissed with...Trott Jr. for getting tossed on the kickoff in his first game as a the true starting LB....or Campbell because he's disliked him and his reliability his entire tenure with the Eagles.

One of them has to start next week 🤣

Frankly, Fangio can be upset with himself with Campbell. If I remember correctly, he was one of the bigger proponents of them trying to move up and drafting Campbell.

Every new OC I think that can’t be worse? And everytime they are.

whoa, is that Eagles legend Sidney Brown?

Nick can't stay out of things. Worse this time because the systems don't match

Next year is going to look widely different. Top down.

He gets "his man” every year and every time they are awful.

Manifest 6-3. It's happening. In one month, all this hostility will have vanished. 🤣

I just want him to throw the ball. Which seems harder and harder every week.

And we were talking about how I said Barkley is still an upgrade over Shipley. And he told me he was cooked. And I said at least Barkley still a starter in this league whereas Shipley is not. So either way Barkley might be overrated, but he’s still an upgrade to what Shipley is.

I didnt say anything about Shipley... You were talking to greend and I chimed in about Barkley.

Barkley dances too much and goes down very easily. If he doesnt have elite OL play like he had for 1 year, hes just an average guy who people tremendously overrate based on size and combine testing.

I think the issue with Barkley is that he's no longer a slashing downhill runner. He's still got the body control and the linear speed. So he can bounce it outside, find a seam, and get way downfield fast. On the oft-chance this OL opens up an interior gap, he can take that too.

Despite those tree trunk legs, he's not going to push a pile or run through 3 arm tackles anymore. He's also an extremely stiff and unreliable receiver. And he seems to have quite a few mishaps in picking up rushers.

Put it all together and he's probably better at his job than most starters on the offense (if we want to play the "he's down on the list of problems" game). The real issue is that, where he is right now, represents a very steep year over year decline. Decline isn't linear (it's often worse)...(to be fair, MUCH of Barkley's decline is OL related)...but if we assume linear decline with him, next year he may not be a starting level RB.

I want what you are on. More like 2-7.

For real. Thats crazy

Nick and Mannion should take notes from this game. Ravens OL is more of a cluster than ours and they got discount Lamar Jackson starting and they’re still able to run and pass. It’s almost like if you spread the field and ball a bit, you can get teams to still respect the pass when you bring out condensed looks.

I find it mild to moderately amusing that every time Lemon catches the football, there is a shower of posts saying "everyone who said he was a bust is an idiot." ....as if the guy has arrived as a successful first round pick because he just caught a first down.

First of all, no one has ever called a first year player a bust. It's not fair and indeterminable. Secondly, there are many of us that never liked him as a prospect well before he was drafted by the Eagles. Thirdly, if you fall into that camp, all we've seen is reinforcement of that notion. 5 rec for 43 yards today at an 8.6 yard clip. Positively a Greg Wardian impact. Now 15/108/0TD/7.2 ypc. Numbers that would make even many historical rough, doomed Eagles 1st and 2nd year WRs wince.

He looks pretty good so far to me.

The entire offense is dogshit, the QB blows, the OL is in shambles. I’m waiting until we have an offense that consistently can convert a third down before I judge him.

Hopefully Gardenhoser can get back in the game.

Could. If we were average

I needed today to see that Barkley is still a good RB....that was nasty. Thought we had some depth there. We don't. Would have been fun to see Steele get a crack. Shipley is not durable and should be exclusively a 3rd down guy.

Crazy how quickly we have gone from the best OL to a bottom-10 OL
