Season likely over. FWIW.That was my initial thought. Usually player are out for months not just weeks with a blood clot due to being on blood thinners. So I’m guessing his season is over.

The world knows Kellen Moore is a pass happy play caller, as evidenced by Hurts passing 30 or more times in the first 4 weeks of the season. Then Mailaita, Johnson and Dickerson met with Sirianni, demanded a run heavy approach, and Hurts averaged 22.5 passing attempts per game the rest of the way.My wife and her family is from Texas…fortunately her family isn’t football fans. However my BiL is a huge Dallas fan and we converse a lot about football and bash each other sometimes. We spoke at length about Moore and his time at Dallas, he wasn’t a fan of Moore down there.
Thursday at 05:35 PM2 days I was at the point where I wanted the Hurts/Siri era to end, but not like this. This is some scary s***.

As far as the football team is concerned I really feel like this is the beginning of the end. It's been a great run, probably the best since I've been a fan. I'd do it all over in a heartbeat. So get will soon Jalen.Sounds like he's finally getting good treatment and will be alright, but holy crap they handled this horribly. I can't imagine that flight home was good for a clot either let alone playing in that game.

Thursday at 05:40 PM2 days How the F wasn't he put on blood thinners in London, allowed to play in a game, and then fly home without treatment. What the actual F....

As Nick Foles would teach us in regards to backup QBs. But way different circumstances. But in regards to this season, I will say "The season's in the refrigerator, the door's closed, the light's out, the eggs are cooling, the butter's getting hard, and the jello's jiggling."

It’s a superficial blood clot, I tend to think he’s still gonna be out at least a few gamesWtf is a "superficial" blood clot? Is it a blood clot that only cares about its physical appearance? F'ing self-absorbed a-hole blood clot!
Thursday at 05:42 PM2 days As for the offense moving forward:We already have people more concerned to stick it to other fans because of Hurts debates and arguing hypothetical scenarios to prepare for a "gotcha." No matter what happens, one game isn't usually a definitive answer. If he struggles, you have to see more with starters and more experience. If he's good, you have to see it long-term but it would be hopeful. As for the injury "excuse," the reality is that playing with backups is difficult for any QB. Hurts as a veteran is better suited to overcome playing with backups than a backup QB who hasn't had many regular season games. Yet last week the O line settled in and played better. Hopefully the O line continues to improve this week. The current setup would be difficult for any QB, the RBs pulled from practice squad and missing your #1 WR. The coaches and McKee have to prepare well.I liked McKee as a backup in prior years, he never got a chance with the starters. He still won't have all of his starters this week. He didn't play well last year when he started (with backups) and didn't look good this year, neither did Dalton. With practice time to prep, I hope we get to see McKee come out confident and prepared.
Thursday at 05:42 PM2 days Just now, ManuManu said:No.What is the point? The guy couldn't even throw one pass without screwing things up. McKee looks like Brady or they sell at the deadline and the kid plays if he gets hurt.
Thursday at 05:43 PM2 days This season is a wash anyways. Commies, Bears, Vikings, Giants, Ravens etc all have won games with a back up QB. Lets see what McKee has. Also best wishesfor a speedy recovery for Jalen. This seems serious.
Thursday at 05:43 PM2 days Just now, Diehardfan said:Yeah, we are the doomed this seasonWell the coach just kept his job til end of the season unless they absolutely quit. But I'm just not seeing that.
Thursday at 05:44 PM2 days Doctor Grossingor is live on Jakib YouTube channel. He said it was a superficial clot but since it moved and became bigger it’s might be a DVT now. Said we’ll know soon with further observation.
