There is a difference between getting up for a few playoff games with a good OL and team and for 13 when there are holes all over the boat. We'll see what happens Sunday but at this point it's just doesn't look like their year. The injury report is longer than the Target receipt I see on the counter when she gets home. They can't start the same C and LG for two games in a row. No run game. If he's done and the offense looks the same with McKee then just sell at the deadline and get ready to retool.

Moore is a great play caller and the staff that year did a wonderful job leaning into what was working. He did add to the scheme here e.g. bringing answers for cover 0 looks but the passing game remained a struggle for much of that year too.

It wasn’t purely his scheme though that we ran. It’s well documented we shifted a course a bit after first 4 games and the scheme was a blend of what had worked well for eagles in past with new concepts that Moore brought

So a loss this weekend I think puts Howie in secret tank mode. He ain't dumb. Not gonna risk Hurts's life. Also, that contract decision maybe gets shelved or whatever. The calculus has just fully changed today. I have ZERO expectations and now can just watch the games and enjoy individual growth and progress for the future. And if they pull a Jags ending again. I will laugh, not cry. Put in Morris, put Lampkin at Center, Stowers at TE. Let's find out about guys, who actually have a shot to be contributors next year and beyond. So there is something to watch here going forward for sure.
