How about Luke Cage "Hero for hire. "

I guess the Avengers don't know about Luke Cage?

People are just going to need to swallow the pill that other local heroes aren’t always going to show up because they should/may be around offscreen.

Right, they can't have all the characters show up, I already acknowledged that. But plot-wise they have to write in ways that make sense. They should've just kept the silly LARPers out of it and had him & Kate working together. If Hawkeye actually needed help he wouldn't ask them. He's been reluctant with Kate, not wanting her to be in danger. But untrained LARPers? Weird. It makes more sense he's used to doing it alone.

All the LARPers were police officers and firefighters in that "clan” or however they work, so he kind of is bringing in people that would be responsible for everyday criminals.

It could just be he wants to leave the whole Avengers thing behind him. It would at least fit the direction his character has gone now that he is older.

He’s also not involving the LARPers in the actual fight. Hes stayed at their place a few times and one of them is watching his dog. And one of them got his stuff out of evidence which makes sense given their professions. I find that a lot different then what he’s doing with Kate. That said, I do agree they could have been streamlined out. As I’ve said before, this show has some weird tone issues going on but I’m still enjoying it.

I wish the movie was longer to be honest

I’m taking my family to see it again next Sunday. I think this will be a movie i wind up seeing a lot in theaters.

I can’t wait until they release behind the scenes stuff & deleted scenes.

I usually find if the movie is good then it is never long enough... I always want it to carry on.

Going to get blasted for this but felt meh with No Way Home. It wasn’t bad, but don’t think it’s as good as the hype. I liked Far From Home better.

Poor Tom…went from that fabulous rack to inverted chest Zendaya.

FFH made almost no sense with all the plot holes. If you turn your brain off, it's a fun action movie though.

Re-watched Shang Chi. Looking past that it's taking things from so many other movies, I enjoyed it more the 2nd time, and liked Simu Liu's performance a lot more.

That’s probably a good explanation for my post.

I didn’t dislike NWH, just felt like it was very lacking in SpiderMan actually being SpiderMan. Which is weird considering the plot.

I wasn't impressed with it so 2 and half hours was long.

I disagree but it’s your opinion so I won’t argue. What was your reasons for not liking it? I’m curious to hear why you didn’t like it. I can understand if people thought it was too fan servicey & banked on nostalgia too much

I didn't dislike it, just thought it was ok

Spoiler

I didn't like the plot that much, and what they did with the "Villains". Doc Oc ended SM2 being good and sacrificing himself, but now he's back and is bad. But 10 mins later he's good again, but then he's bad for the final fight, before he turns good again. Kinda the same for everyone else. The only one that truly felt like a Villain was Green Goblin but even with him they did the fake swerve of "now he's good but only until he's bad again."

For doing a semi-Sinister Six story, I was hoping the Villains would be more villainy. I could have done without any of the "let's reform them" angle. I think the fight scenes were pretty weak too. You have 3 Spider-Mans and 5 villains so I was expecting some epic fight scene, but they kinda just chase each other around the Statue of Liberty.

I did like the ending. I thought it was dumb that they revealed his identity and he just kept going to school and living a normal life. So I like that they reset all that for future films.

I realize I'm in the minority. I like Super Hero movies being dumb stand alone action movies, or having some small crossover like The Dark Knight trilogy had.
