Not sure about complaining but the cameras caught him saying "that's messed up" or something like that.

From what reports say, the locker room likes Hurts and believes in him.  Ginger on the other hand, not so much.  I really feel like Howie and Jeff wanted to keep Wentz but he lost the locker room so they had no choice.  Some like Kelce and Cox supported Wentz but majority just didnt believe in him.

IIRC there were players publicly backing Wentz

It's all pretty opinionated and seems to trigger some on here

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Data please.

Pretty sure I said this is how I feel.....in other words, my opinion.

If Eagles don't win Week 1 there is a legit chance of starting 0-7

It does matter if rest in between games favors the opponent with more rest.  The amount of rest in between games varies from team to team.  The Eagles playing 3 straight games against teams coming off of a bye week is not something averages out in the end when they only get to play one team that has had a shorter week of rest.

You're right, and I didn't properly explain the point I was making. When it comes to rest days, every single team will have the same amount of rest days come the end of the year (except the two opening Thursday night teams). Short weeks obviously get balanced out with extra rest the following week. What does matter, however, is the average amount of rest days your opponents have leading up to the game with you.

Oops. What can I say?

I mean, they just announced Gainwell as #15, Slay moving to #2, our prized first round WR as #6.

Beat me to it. They were said to have the easiest schedule in terms of teams we play against but looking at it I have the Eagles starting 1-6.

You said you feel like Howie and Jeff wanted to keep Wentz. But you lead at least me to believe that the "reports" said the locker room didn't like "ginger". That said. What would your opinion be based on? Your hatred of "ginger"?

The last couple pages of people complaining about jersey numbers sums up the type of people here

That you would complain about that sums up the type of person you are, wouldn't you say?

So they are having rookie camps? Didn't know if that fell in line with the NFLPA making no one on our roster attend OTAs.

They encouraged them to skip but it seems like all the rookies are going.

Yeah, no. Don’t saddle the kid with that moniker.  Although I immediately pictured Spads with old style massive headphones and that ridiculous grin of his jamming out and humming along to his favorite Kenny G "lite” jazz (or whatever that pop crap is labeled).

Maybe, Doug though replacing an ineffective QB was trying to win.  We definitely weren't making good progress with Hurts in there.

I don't have any issue with it either.  We were playing  horribly.

7 completions... 35% comp pct.  Passer rating 25.4  1 INT

8 rushing attempts...

The team was dead, Hurts couldn't hit the broad side of the barn passing the ball and had a red zone possession handed to him.
Got the ball on the 15 yard line.   The play calls were:  run, run, run, run, pass, pass, pass.  The last 3 passes were all incompletions, and the final one was a play that Hurts had Watkins for a chance at a TD, and he literally couldn't get the ball 15 yards to give him even a chance to make a play on it.    Hurts was doing nothing to help the team at that point, and Washington had adjusted to shut down his running.

Kenny G killed it with his solo in Use This Gospel.

wow Dak making some bank

Forbes has released its list of the planet’s 10 highest-paid athletes (from May 1, 2020, to May 1, 2021), and to the surprise of few, Tom Brady cracked it. The Bucs’ second-year quarterback comes in at No. 9 (pre-tax gross earnings of $76 million).

Perhaps more stunning is the fact his Cowboys counterpart, Dak Prescott, ranks five spots ahead of him ($107.5 million). They are the only two NFL representatives on the list, which is headed by mixed martial arts star Conor McGregor ($180 million).

It's not that stunning at all, Dak got a big signing bonus.

Would you trade Ertz for Jordan Hicks ? Ive seen some speculation of this trade with Hicks being given permission to seek a trade.

Good for Dak. It’s actually not "stunning, though. Prescott was paid a $66 million signing bonus this year (in addition to a $9 million base salary). Brady signed his deal last year.

Obviously it’s a huge bonus, by far the highest earning football player

Well, there's that, I suppose.

Brady signed 25 million per year with incentives
