Yeah I'm indifferent. I never felt they should have traded for James harden. I felt they should have traded with the knicks or Sacramento kings.

No surprise there. Not to many current and former players that like Harden. Probably why the only friend he has is a GM lol.

I’m guessing Charles isn’t aware the 76ers are contractually obligated to Harden for at most 1 more season. And Harden could very well likely walk after this season.

You’re forgetting that Daryl Morey is our GM. He has blinders on when it comes to Harden. If Harden wants to stay long term, Morey will sign him.

There are/were rumors that Harden might be open to signing a long term deal but not at the max......would you do 3 years maybe 60 million?  No way I'm giving him a max deal.....

I don't know that I'd want to keep him beyond one more season a the most, and even that depends on the rest of the market... can they get Beal? Who else may come available?

I'd do that. It's not like Harden stinks. He's been a great point guard. He isn't the reason the Sixers are losing. The Sixers are losing because they have 4 legit NBA players on their roster and the rest are garbage. Maybe 4 and a half (Danny Green plays well sometimes). The biggest reason for this is the younger guys who we thought would improve all got worse (Thybulle, Kork, Shake). Probably on Doc. We used to speak about Thybulle in the same breath as Maxey, now I don't even know if he will be in the NBA 3 years from now.

I kinda think he might force his way out.

Obviously he destroyed the roster and they will want to keep what talent they have left- hes their best talent. But I dont think the feeling will be mutual from him. He will want to go to the next place he thinks he can ring chase.

He does it every few years, leaves place in a mess

Max deal but on a year to year basis. I wouldn't give him or Kyrie more than that.

He does. Frankly don’t see how he’d get along with morey as Lebron likes to play GM. So i don’t see it happening. Made more sense Eagan he could’ve done what he wanted a few years back since it was brand and brown. However once embiid begins to decline not sure the sixers future at the moment is all that bright outside of maxey.

At least they have Maxey and all signs point to him turning into a star. So at least when Embiid does start to decline, you’ve got at least one player to really rebuild around. Helps that Maxey is so young too, so he can really be the cornerstone for a long time.

I’m not so sure that once embiid declines they’ll have the capital (believe they use more of it trying to build up this current team) nor right people in place to make the right decisions when building around maxey.  Track record of team building with what happened over the course of the last 6 years with embiid doesn’t exactly inspire confidence. For every great move like maxey and embiid you also have about 4-5 decisions that are completely opposite and an ownership group that imo isn’t that good. also wouldn’t be surprised if klutch tries to convince him to get out of Philly at that point

Considering his option is worth 47 million for 1 season I highly doubt he gives that up for 3 yrs at 60.

Those rumors are bogus.  Harden had no intent of leaving any money on the table.  He simply missed the deadline to opt in during the season. Paperwork was actually sent in but not in time.

So… does the season end tonight or we going back to Miami for one more? I can’t even predict anything with this team.

Either way I’m sure Butler will do his thing. I still just can’t get over the fact that this team chose Simmons and BB over Butler. Unreal.

Considering it’s my bday tomorrow, I’m guessing the sixers will lose it tonight as my present.

I’m leaning toward them winning, just so they can try to get our hopes up only to lose in game 7. I can totally see a game 7 where Butler hits a Kawhi-like buzzer beater…

If butler doesn’t that then we’ve really gone full circle lol

I'm leaning toward season ends tonight. Team looks like it's already quit for the year.

We’re gonna win tonight. The Sixers have shown that when it matters to them they’re the better team, and this is going to matter

Breathe on Butler and he shoots FF
