We all know Embiid wanted Beal so that is the hope right now for Sixers fans. Somehow they get that done.

Been my thoughts for a while now. I think there’s already some writing on the wall with embiid that it’s not going to happen here and he’s irritated. I really believe he wanted to play with beal over harden. That’s why that story leaked out. I think the butler mention last night was a calculated shot by him and butler doing it as well was a shot to the sixers ownership.

With Harris contract having 2 years left, you are going to have to give up some asset(s) for someone take it on or you are going to receive bad contracts back. The problem is he has 2 years left. If you waited to the deadline this upcoming season or the 2023 offseason then someone would do it as an expiring contract and his contract has more value.

Bucks are primed to be good for a while. However if the sixers had embiid, Simmons actually developed his shot and maxey becomes the star we think then the sixers would really just need to add role players around those 3 to be able to compete. Would’ve been awesome series to continuously watch. Unfortunately Ben is an idiot and didnt care too. The sixers poor job over the years has killed the depth and roster. And they still need to find that secondary star/scorer to go with embiid and maxey.

Its not the first time Embiid commented on Butler's play either. Just like he begnan to do with Ben, he repeatedly said we need Harden to be more aggressive. Wasnt just last night.

 

Meanwhile, Steven A wants an investigation in to Harden because 22 minutes in the 2nd half with 1 shot attempt "stinks" and he smells something. He is implying, as has been done before, that Harden is trying to get Doc fired, because Harden and Embiid both want D'Antoni as coach.

I do believe embiid and harden would like doc gone. It’s been his issue with players since the clippers days. If they hire D’Antoni we might as well just trade embiid now because they’re not winning anything with that coach either. You’re just compounding one hiring mistake with a second hiring mistake.

That’s exactly why I have no doubt that Maxey will soon be a perennial all star. Kid just gets it. He’ll come in next season even better than he was in year 2.

Morey is a POS like the owner and Doc. That seals it that there is nothing to look forward to next year.

Sounds like we are running it back with a slightly different bench.

Already don’t care about next year if they are just running it back with Doc.  It’s just not going to work.  I’d almost rather they trade Embiid at this point because he’s not winning anything here.
