What’s wrong with Sanders, Scott, Clement, and one of Warren, Killins, or Holyfield?

I think Boston Scott is the Greg Ward of the RB group.  Did he do good things to help the team when pressed into service last season?  Yes.  Should he have a guaranteed spot on the roster?  No.  He will be there in TC to compete for a job, but it's not like he couldn't be improved upon.

McCoy could be decent in a short stint as lead RB to spell Sanders in case of injury; I don't see the rest of those guys being capable of that.  I wouldn't want McCoy having to get too much action over a longer period than 3-4 weeks, however.

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

Scott is much better than Ward. Scott showed actual skill and did more than the bare minimum when called upon.

Josh Adams is the Ward of RBs.

I can’t imagine we would have offered anything close to that with incentives.

We're not even in the ballpark with that deal, and Freeman wanted more.

Please no

This.        If they must bring in a vet, either Hyde or Freeman makes a ton more sense in every way.        Signing McCoy is a classic example of  Roseman being Roseman - all sentiment and no sense.

Looks like Roseman is waiting for the others to be signed by teams serious about improving their RB room, and then "well, 'Shady' was the best option available".

If Freeman is priced out, I have pretty much no interest in the other vet RBs. Let’s see what Clement and the youngsters have.

Carlos Hyde to Seattle. It isn’t a game changing addition, but it is annoying Seattle always gets all the players that I want the eagles to get. And they always own us every single season when we play them.

Not game changing but just solid all around.  With that weapons they have in the passing game, Russell Wilson being Russell Wilson and now Hyde, that's a scary good offense.

What FA RBs are left?

I loved the idea of the porn ‘stashe QB here but he didn’t seem to fit the profile.  He was on my board. Note that the cowpads dumped Cooper Rush and kept Thorson to compete with their draft choice.

Minshew is vastly underrated his whole life.

He had as good, or better, numbers as Murray and he was literally thrown to the wolves in a worse situation.

I'm not sure he's going to be some great starter in the league but he will definitely have a Fitzpatrick type of career in my guestimation.

Nah, I think Ward could get a yard better than Adams on a 3rd and 1. 😄

I honestly don't even know who else is left.

Use Goedert as the big back and keep Killins.

😂

Probably hard to do in the current situation but i'd check in on Lamar Miller and Isaiah Crowell. I'll probably get flamed for this but I think i'd rather have Wendell Smallwood back over McCoy.

Those ordering concession ideas won’t work.  Who’s gonna police that?  I mean come on.

MeatMcGinley is a strange wack job.  Pretty sure he’s killed someone.

All you need is some signs over all concession areas that say order from seat, pick up only.

What makes him think skipping the season will get him more money next year. Running backs are brought into the league every year

An app makes it easy.

The opposite actually. I avoid all unnecessary suffering of sentient beings, unfortunately that includes some of the residential emb morons like yourself

I gave my ideas on those other things. In addition to the fact that 25% capacity automatically takes care of some of that already. I also posted the dolphins plan here that talked about scheduled arrival times at different enterances, as well as ordering concessions from your seat and only getting up to go pick up your order once its ready.

Also, you must have forgotten meatmcginley.

Yo imagine working in health care, claiming you know wtf you're talking about, and saying that testing is pointless

We're a team that goes cheap at LB/RB/S. That means we can't have expensive veteran backups. It's fine.

I think he's just trying to gain any leverage he can.

If Chipotle, Chik-fil-A, Bk, Taco Bell, Qdoba, McDs, and every other fast food joint out there can have an app for pick up and contactless delivery... you'd think an NFL franchise could make it happen.   The trickiest part would be having the people in the seats go to the right concession stand for pickup.
