Broncos players gotta be furious.

Decent organizational move for a team going nowhere in 2021.

Where do the Rams keep getting draft picks from?

Rams going all in.  They have a very legitimate shot at it this year.

Great, the Broncos and Saints games just got easier. Howie is going to get just enough wins to stick around.

The salary cap would probably prohibit the Eagles making a trade like this, but man, it'd sure be nice to have a LBer of Miller's caliber on the team.

Oh. Uh, I guess.   I would have never guessed that would have been a thing, I completely forgot.  Hurts sucks and is pretty much Taysom Hill.  Losing Brees is what hurt them.

I'm probably overstating the importance of it, but I do think Payton has a massive ego and won't want to lose to Hurts again.

Another development that will help us this year. We suck at tanking.

Yep. It sucks.

That's not the only problem with making a move like this for the Eagles.    The Eagles should be the sellers, not the buyers.

Guess we're beating Denver in 2 weeks.

Yea, no I get it. I'm just sick of this team not putting any value in the position.

Then what did they use for Ramsey/Stafford/Cooks etc.

I just looked up their 2022 picks. Holy cow.

3rd round comp

5th

2 7ths

Rams only have a 2nd Round pick (their own), two 3rd Round picks (their own plus a comp pick for the Brad Holmes hiring), a 5th Round pick (their own), and two 7th Round picks.  And they're giving up 2 of those picks (probably 1 of the 3rd Rounders and the 5th Rounder) for Von Miller leaving them with just 4 picks in the 2022 draft.  And in 2023 they have a 2nd, 3rd, 5th, two 6ths, and a 7th.  Not much in ammo for restocking your roster via the draft.

EDIT:  Just saw the post of the tweet that it's for a 2nd and one of the 3rd Round picks, which means Rams won't be drafting until late in the 3rd Round.  They really are selling their future for the present.

They traded their 2nd and 3rd. Highest pick they have is a comp 3

The following is from the American Medical Association,  Advancing Health Equity: A Guide to Language, Narrative and Concepts

image.thumb.png.f51868a66baecd5447d874643abcd6bf.png

It is recommended by the AMA to replace the language on the left with that on the right.

This is just one example of interjecting politics into statements of fact.

Doctors should stick to what they think they know, the causes of poverty is a complex issue far beyond the expertise of the AMA, I can point to thousands of economic papers using sophisticated econometrics trying to tease out various factors leading to poverty and inequality - and while there is support for some of those mentioned factors, there are numerous other factors, one of which is the opposition of the medical profession to measures (expansion of nurse practitioners' ability to provide care, especially in under served rural impoverished areas) that would help alleviate some of the health impacts of poverty.

I'd be curious to know how many of the doctors' supporting that language refuse to take Medicaid patients b/c the fees are too low.

I'm officially jumping off the Winston to Eagles 2022 bandwagon. It was a fun, solo ride.

You actually jumped on that wagon?

I respect the Broncos for knowing what they are despite sitting at 4-4.

Mostly ironically. But I did think he would be an upgrade over Hurts as a stop gap starter if they chose not to take a QB in the draft.

Can he get a bionic crab leg?

Yup. Other than Eric Wilson, we're not going to sell. *Sigh*

The future for those as well.   They have used up a ton of picks.

Gannon is figuring out what his players can and can't do.

Edwards is a fine two down MLB against the run, but you don't want him isolated one on one in coverage, and lacks the speed to get deep on zone drops - so what did Gannon do, started to blitz him, and that maybe become his read, if it's pass, go for the QB instead of being a traffic cone in coverage.

The Eagles will sell if they can get something good for their players.

Being a Rams college scout must be a cushy job.
