Add that to the list of reasons 2020 sucks!

  • Don’t Look Up was hilarious!   that’s EXACTLY how something like that would go down.  They nailed it.   ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Would Recommend to a friend!!!

  • You're drunk - the lack of Yennefer being naked at all immediately makes your claim invalid

I noticed there's been a bunch of foreign movies added. I don't mind subtitles. Only annoying part is if I look somewhere else and miss a few subtitles and don't know what's going on lol

Pretty sure I plugged this on the old boards but speaking of subtitles, definitely recommend "Kingdom". South Korean horror series. Basically samurai meets zombie.

Netflix has stayed ahead of the game by going global.  They've had an explosion of content, pretty much almost all of it Netflix partnering up with companies from everywhere and in every language.  I have my preferences set to spanglish and its pretty incredible how much they have in Spanish.

I had no idea you could filter it by languages. I guess mine must be everything since I've seen movies of a bunch of different languages

A lot of times the English voiceover is pretty bad and I don't mind subtitles. I just have to make sure I pay attention lol

Sorry said that wrong, it's not a filter (though it might exist), just that because we watch a lot of stuff in Spanish, it all pops up for us.  I usually use the voice over for something like anime.  Not like you have acting to follow, and the reading while watching visuals is not worth the hassle.

I'm staggered by how deep and spiritual of a show White Lines turned out to be.  On the surface its a show about a bunch of overaged air heads (yes you are supposed to kinda hate them), but it's really a brutally honest collection of character studies with a merciless view on the impossibility of perfect life decisions.  It celebrates life and then curses it and then over and back again for 10 episodes of harrowing soul searching.  I Fing loved this show.

Jeff epstein doc series on netflix.

holy f.  Binge watched it after work yesterday.  And as the dad of a 16 yr old girl it gave me nightmares.

i didn't realize just how rich that POS was.  Jesus.  So awesome he died in a dirty jail cell like the scum he was

Found an offbeat indie flick on Netflix, Duck Butter exploring a compressed 24-hr relationship of two women. It's intimate, steamy, sometimes funny. Great performances and cameos by the Duplass brothers and Kumail Nanjiani.

Alia Shawkat, who wrote much of it, is charming and vulnerable.

Laia Costa plays Sergio, a character we all know - a woman who is so beautiful and charismatic that you wonder, why is she paying attention to me?  Am I just today's amusement? Or is she so nuts that everyone bails on her sooner or later, beauty be damned?  Your gut tells you to back away as her beauty pulls you in.  This thing is tagged as a rom com but it's pretty tense.  Steamy sex scenes and some artful nudity.

Ghey post of the day^^^^

(not that there’s anything wrong with that)

Alia Shawkat has one of the sexiest/funniest lines in a movie in Cedar Rapids near the end (big  pun there if you know the line) with Ed Helms.

Or big bush

Game of Thrones commentary tracks taught me why chicks always have bush or landing strip of some kind in full frontal scenes lol

mmm.  artful nudity...although nowadays that mostly means schlong.

Speaking of artful nudity, there's a film called "Love" on Netflix that is straight up porn. We're talking bush everywhere, hard schlong, unsimulated sex.. the whole shebang. The first 5 minutes is literally a chick stroking a dude in plain view until he finishes.

hey, do you guys know if there's a way to watch a movie w/o it showing up on the "recently watched" list?

I'm not into lesbo sex, but that scene is one of the hottest ever filmed.

The wardrobe and cinematography are top notch. The dialogue gets a little lost in translation but the story line is awesome.  Better than the walking dead really imo

Wait are you talking about the movie Hunt suggested or "Kingdom" on Netflix?  Or was there another Asian zombie show out there?

No worries I was just confused wondering how many Korean zombie shows are out there.  It's a fantastic show, definitely deserves more hype.

Yeah they have tons of good ideas in this show.  2nd season isn't quite as good as 1st but I'd recommend this show to any fan of the genre in a heartbeat.
