Yes....Titans not Ravens.

And Burks' numbers are still irrelevant to the Eagles.

If he puts up better numbers than AJ Brown, that is a major indictment of Hurts.  Tannehill ain't exactly Josh Allen, so if he gets more out of a rookie than Hurts gets out of Brown, that is an issue.

The full Seth Walder BS analytics take that the Eagles had a 55% chance at getting Davis at 15 thus they shouldn't have traded up.

Absolute nonsense. Annoying that anyone takes this dude seriously.

And when the 45% comes true, Howie's sitting their looking at McDuffie.

When there's a big talent fall off on your board, and the cost to trading up is (3) 3rd day picks in a deep UDFA draft, no brainer.

Now had this been a thin draft, or if the Eagles had a loaded roster that made it hard to sign UDFAs (like TB), then the calculus might be somewhat different.

Gotcha. Like the steaks, seared and then cooked quickly.  Now a bear roast can be slowed smoked after a sear in contrast, but like you say, depends. I don’t know about you but with bear, I struggle to combat the fact I am eating a canine.

However, the bear would have no compunctions about chomping down on your butt.

Quit dissing Minshew like that

I really wanted Minshew in the draft about where he went. He will be a decade or more top backup that gets some starts.  He really seems like a likable goofball and the team seemed to rally to that for him in college.  I do wonder if after Wentz, who did seem to alienate some in the locker room, if the Eagles value that likability as a needed QB trait. (Roger Staubach had a bit of a put offishness to him with the Dallas party group but measured how he projected so I don’t put that to religiousness, so don’t go there.  For Wentz, he didn’t seem to focus on improving what could be improved and seemed to get an ego and favoring certain players.)

On the road the team will face Baltimore, Cincinnati and Cleveland, as well as the Atlanta Falcons, Buffalo Bills, Carolina Panthers, Indianapolis Colts, Miami Dolphins and Philadelphia Eagles.

Assume you mean pronghorn, not African antelope. Good eating.

Game birds:  no quail?  I rank quail right after pheasant.  Plain state pheasants in the corn. Yum.

Fish:  Catfish? Really like pan fried perch/crappie/sunfish.  Small but tasty.

My mother in law started raising Quail about 2 years ago, she gets $9-10 each and sell them pretty quickly.  Now she has 3 incubators going at once and she also sells to game fields that have paid hunts for Quail and Pheasant.
I think birds get a bad rap because of Ducks and Geese, someone could eat a Snow Goose and believe all geese must taste like crap, same for a Sea Duck or Diver vs say a Mallard or another Puddler.  Green Wing Teal’s taste completely different from Blue Wing, but a Bufflehead is really gamey.
Pheasant, grouse, quail, chukar are all really good w/o a ton of prep, same for Canada geese which to me is similar to roast beef in flavor.
Snow geese and Divers are all great crab bait for my Trotline, unless I was lucky enough to ever get a Canvasback.

Him and Dean have reputations as very high character guys. Let the criminals and dbags go to the Cowgirls and The Mean Machine where they belong.

Take it TATM. Talk About The Meats

Davis-90

Jurgens- 51

Dean- 17

Johnson- 58

Calcaterra- 47

Approve of all but Calcaterra. Hopefully he gets in to a traditional TE number come regular season.

I mean, 17 isn't exactly traditional either for a LB... I kind of dig the 47.

Dude, Trey Burton started as #47, then changed to 88 ( Calcaterra's college number ) and the rest is history.

Just let it unfold naturally.

2200 receiving yards and 20 TD's does not get your number retired.

Not saying it was and I'm on the fence about it.  I would love to see Seumalo back in 73 and give Dean 56, not that he would want it.

I know the rules are different but I just can't get on board with TE/LB with 40s numbers.  To me, those are always camp numbers for guys who are going to get cut.  40s should be for hard hitting safeties and fullbacks.

I know, Burton was 47.  Was going to mention that in my other response.  It's just an ugly number.
