From a scheme perspective, having a DB on the field that can cover the slot and rotate into deep coverage while in dime would be nice.

Possibly. I think the problem though is they will all beat each other up and give someone like the Bills home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

Also Lane isn’t getting younger so maybe you can groom him into your RT behind lane.
