Too much smoke around it last year for them to not. I do think if they get him it likely means trying to unload Castellanos contract Getting Soto and unloading Castellanos? There would be a statue of Dombrowski put up

You just have to be willing to pay the money but not have it come off your tax. Plus, it’s two years of 40 million which is much easier to move than three or four years at 60 or 80 million.

I just think he’s not very good same reason the As just let him go. I would say we go and get two outfielders; one that’s going to platoon and then one every day, but I don’t think they’re gonna do that.
July 19, 20242 yr Of course Nola gets a three run lead and then gives a couple runs back the very next half inning.

July 19, 20242 yr Jesus Bohm needs to do some leg exercises, he is slower than a snail, a good runner beats that esaily

July 20, 20242 yr Trea is just on another planet right now. He may be the MVP front runner at this point if he hadn’t missed all that time with the hamstring.
July 20, 20242 yr I know their numbers must be good with bases loaded but it just always feels like we we strand the runners.
July 20, 20242 yr Kerkering has been fortunate lately too. He’s given up 2 or more hits in 3 of his last 4 appearances and was saved by Soto against the As when he couldn’t get out of an inning. Got 3 outs but that was ugly
July 20, 20242 yr 3 straight chances with RISP and we go 0-3. Pray for our sanity if Alvarado comes in for the 9th
